It's funny with filming on railway stations - but from what I gather, trainspotters on platforms are allowed according to network rail, but filming on the main concourse of a major railway station isn't because it's private property - I think the latter is so that if the news or a pro tv production company turn up, then network rail can charge them for permits to film. So some poor tourist filming all of the places they've visited could end up getting nicked...
