I totally forgot that Deftones were in City of Angels. how the hell did that even happen?

anyway, I know everybody's bitching about how City of Angels and Salvation were horrible... I quite liked, them to be honest. I LOVE the original film and true, the sequels could NEVER compare, but they weren't completely awful.

Maybe that's just me though. I have to say that I LOVED the soundtrack for City of Angels.

I got this album the day it was release because I knew this song was on here. At the time, music wasn't as accessible as it is now so, naturally, I hadn't heard it yet and was foaming at the fucking mouth (been a fan since before adrenaline was finally released, wore out my tape that had a demo version of 7 words and bored). Needless to say, immediate ragegasm... I can listen to the song 50 times in a row and everytime have fucking goose bumps. One of the best bands ever, fuck the 1 dislike...

I bought this album in the 90's JUST for this song. The movie was terrible but at least The Deftones were playing on a stage for the Day of The Dead festival toward the end.

@TheMizzelphug the filter song was pretty good too...and the toadies track was alright. matter of fact the iggy pop track rocked as well...and as much as it pains me to admit the korn and even bush songs were good as well. all and all thats enough to make it a pretty good soundtrack.

@JUSTIN030783 Your bit rate matters when you are ripping from a CD (an original source). The bit rate is a mathematical description of how much data about the audio signal is captured in 0's and 1's. Higher bit rate = more of the signal being replicated digitally. Once that bit rate has been established, you can only convert to lower bit rates. Upconverting (taking a song that has been ripped in 192 and converting it to 320) does nothing positive with respect to sound quality.

@JUSTIN030783 I've never seen a FLAC for this song. Converting the 192kbps or 256kbps to 320kbps doesn't actually improve the sound quality, it just enlarges the file size.

Too fucking bad this song's a b-side from Adrenaline, and Frank wasn't made an official member of the band until White Pony. First work with them was on ATF. He's VERY noticeable on White Pony/SNW / Diamond Eyes. Pink Cellphone, Beauty School, This Place is Death, Teenager, Digital Bath, The Boy's Republic, and of course DIAMOND EYES - those are songs heavy on the Frank. Love it all or deserve nothing = Deftones.
