How to unlock a door with a credit card

last advice. if you have a similar door which is open. first watch where the lock bolt is placed so it gets very easy to unlock it.

i open my front door in 8 seconds.

this trick works very well. opened many doors this way.

sometimes you need a second credit card when the first one gets stuck. the second one slips then over the first one and you should shake the door forward and back until the door opens.

if you dont have a credit card, just use a plastic bottle which where you cut off a cylindric piece. it's longer and easier to hold.

This actually worked. My apartment what I believe is a deadbolt lock. All I know is you have to use a key to open it. Anyway, my youngest son locked it. I tried everything, even the card method. I used a couple of old cards, but they were a little too flimsy. Then, I used an old Visa gift card and it worked.

it doesnt work dont lock your door to try this and if u want to try it make sure sombody is inside the bathroom because i tried it didnt work and was locked out of my bathroom from spring break all the way up till yesterday !!!

if the the trapazoid thing is facing the other way, i figured out using a paper clip bending it in a "u" shape then puting the clip around the olt so the two ends of the clip are facing toward u and exposed, then you grab the two ends, jiggle, and pull it

@linerider565 Some doors are reversed and the trapezoid shaped end has the incline facing the other way. With it towards you, just slide it in to get to the top. In the reversed case, you have to go around somehow. Sometimes there's not enough room.

this only qworks for certain kinds of locks, only spring locks... if the lock is a deadbolt lock it wont work... ive tryed when i got locked outta my house.
