Angela Robinson said that they had to cut out parts of this scene because otherwise it would have been rated R instead of PG-13.

I find it difficult to understand why a chaste lesbian sex scene such as this has to be bumped up to an R rating when a full out heterosexual love scene can easily be Pg-13 or lower.
