Although popular, it is simply a file sharing program. The actual company that runs and supports the program uploads NONE of the content on it, therefor anything uploaded can be by any person. The blame goes to the people uploading, and downloading, not the company that owns the program.

Make sure you're doing it correctly. If you have to, click a song, then click and hold down, and drag it down.. If you have to do it one at a time at first, just to get it down, it's fine.

I don't like Limewire but it's not extremely dangerous, unless you download something stupid like programs, games, movies, or porn... If you simply download songs, then you'll be fine... The process in which I use and explain is for transfering mass amounts of music. If you want to waste your time clicking and dragging one song at a time into iTunes, (and sometimes it doesn't work like that on newer versions of each program), then be my guest. I'm trying to get the message out on the easiest way to do this.

Ah, I have ITunes and Limewire downloaded and payed for. But it still wont work, I do all that you say until they appear in the botten box with a the 100% downloaded next to them. After that i click on the Library but it keeps saying something about "Configure..." and ITunes isint any better it says the same thing but when i click on it it says something about my "Purchased" items being on another computer or something. I did download my ITunes up at my dads though but i doubt thats the prob.

Limewire is NOT illegal, but most if not pretty much all, downloads are not supported legally. Is it okay? Morally or legally? Morally, that's up to you? Legally, yes and no. And if you want to use it (in terms of having a safe computer), that all depends on what you download. Download music, and not a super lot, you'll be fine. There are certain files out there though... That's the risk.

You don't need to have an iTunes account to use iTunes buddy. You simply need an iTunes account if you're going to download music/movies etc for money. Also, all you need is a credit card, no purchases actually required.
