I hate to criticise a fellow, but I must be true with what I hear. The notes are played perfectly correct, but have little "fire" or passion, Perhaps needs Dynamics, creating different tensions. Where´s the sense of the piece ? is is a Nocturne, or have some BRAVURA ? They all seem alike and boring. Listen to Cziffra. Will ever a mortal play this piece at least on the Cziffra level, or that one is definitive ? Break this piano into pieces, needs to sweat more! Dare some more! FFF is F here...

If anyone thinks they can play this Galop better then she or Cziffra does, feel free to come to my house and sit and play my piano, and we will compare. She is one of my favorites to listen to. I do compare other good concert pianists, but she always rates in the group. A most excellent musician.

there is absolutely no comparison at all between Valentinas and Cziffras performance. Cziffra honestly blows this woman out of the water hands down. then he just puts a little cherry on top with the added in improvisations perfectly.

@CziffraTheThird Cziffra's interpretation of the Chopin Etudes absolutely sucks compared to Valentina Lisitsa's. Valentina puts emotion and fluency along with speed and virtuosity. Cziffra just plays everything at 200mph and does not put any real emotion into anything. Valentina Lisitsa is a fantastic pianist, better than Cziffra ever was.

@hellsguitar I don't speak for Valentina Lisitisa, but in my own experience Bosendorfers tend to have a really dark tone compared to the brighter tone of something like a Steinway or Yamaha, plus the extra keys are always an awesome addition.

@SuperCos123 She has such great a strength because all her muscles in her fingers - "little Schwarzeneggers" as she likes to call them. Those muscles she has achieved by practicing all these years, 10-14 hours per day whenever possible (yes, thats a LOT of practicing). So I guess your strength (and flexibility) will improve over the years of practice -- there are simply no shortcuts to those.
