hmm... i cracked the plastic tabs trying to pry them loose. the case still wouldn't separate. it's very hard to do so i gave up.

A shishkabab skewer? When I want to open my computer all I need is to remove the thumbscrews. I see that Apple really doesn't want you to have an easy time getting in there to upgrade it. Is that a paint scraper? LOL
