There's a good reason you can now get a computer chip installed in your dog's head, if you can afford it. A dog gone AWOL is as serious a matter now as it ever was. I had a Seeing Eye dog of all things, who escaped on me 4 different times. He was found all 4 times, but I unloaded him on somebody else before he could escape for keeps.
