Sir...I think I love you. Although one thing I think would have made the video even better is you be a bit more detailed on how to beak the casing. I tried slowly slicing open the side, what you really should do is jam it down the casing and shimmy your knife a bit and it will eventually break off. Took me about 5-6 mins to figure it out.

just a tip for people that have the turtle beach x11's and if you are using a hdmi cable, check if your tv has an "audio output" if it does then just plug the green cable that is attached to the turtle beach and it should work, I did it and it works perfectly fine, this should or might work with with the other types of turtle beaches I haven't looked at the cables that the other types of turtle beaches come with.

I gave up on my hdmi cuz it was not working right i could hear thru the headset but also my tv...so i hooked up my 360 hd component cables and it works fine...and i dont notice a difference in my picture at all...its still 1080p and it frees up my hdmi cord for my blu ray player!

Many newer tvs don't have audio out, maybe just optical audio out. I have an LG 60" Plasma and it does not have it.

It works, but I'm a bit worried it might overheat my graphics chip in my xbox. Why do you think microsoft made it like that? So you couldn't have both the AV and HDMI cable in at the same time, so it doesn't overheat.
