  • where can you get 37mm spacers not online?

  • thankyou!!

  • Timetofingerboard fuck you faggot

  • how do you take a spacer off, if it wont come off legit i cant take mine off i guessed i put it on to tight or whatever..

  • how do u put the spacers on?

  • @ShIT4BRAINS93 Same way as a lens, once you put the spacers on they also have threads on them so you can just screw in the lens normally.

  • last one is best

  • @TimeToFingerboard how about you stop crying, go play with your fingerboard, and stop posting on videos pretending you know shit about cameras, giving false infromation and bringing more dumbasses like you into filming

  • @TimeToFingerboard youre a dumbass, a babydeath is anything with 43mm threads or smaller. the opteka 52 isnt a babydeath lens, its just a death lens

  • modest mouse

  • Where do you get spacers from? I live in the UK and fail miserably at finding them haha... Any help much appreciated.

  • 1 spacers were its at...

  • thank you for show the spacers :)

  • where do you get spacers?

  • Comment removed

  • did you just trun the light on when you put the spacer on or did you change the reolution and stuff

  • is it baby death or century optics? it cant be both.

  • @SKATINGisGNAR17

uhhh... yeah it can. baby death just means its a 37mm. opteka and century make 37mm .3x fisheyes.

  • i know that but baby death is the brand by opteka, century optics is made differently with different glass. it both does the exact same thing, century is jst stronger and about 400 more expensive

  • Definitely not... The Century Optics Baby Death Lense was around before Opteka began offering their own version.

It's $200 more expensive, because its a TOP of the line piece.

  • @SKATINGisGNAR17 pj your an idiot. im sorry but you are, opteka is kind of a knockoff of century optics. century optics is the original mk2 baby death. opteka isnt an mk2. just a .3x fisheye. and not 400 more expensive. opteka is 100, centurys 300. you fail

  • kid i know im saying that it cant be both opteka and century

  • 16:9 1 spacer

  • damn 1 spacer looks nice

  • Whats the song at :30?

  • Modest House - Dashboard

  • thanks

  • do spacers come with it or do you have to buy them

  • hahaha at 0:33 on the tv worst vig

  • do any come in 30mm

  • where can i get a spacer? also where can i get a stepdown ring at?

  • says in description.

    also ebay?

  • for a spacer u can buy a cheap clear uv filter and knock out the lens

  • anyone know how to remove the spacer ring???

  • 4:3 1 spacer was tite dog

  • why 16x9

  • i looked on that website but i couldnt find any 37mm spacers for my gs320, did you have to use an adapter ring?

  • i got the same tv and cam setup

  • 1 spacer looks the best that is what ma friend did

  • wat does it depend on? cuz i wana get 2 of those and get it lookin in between fullscreen 1 spacer and 2 but i wanna still use the sunshade

  • You can always use the sunshade, no matter what!

It just depends on your angle, sun position, & how attentive you are... Nothing feels worse than ruining a perfect shot with the sunshade in the frame!

  • well yes i no that u can use it wenever. but wat i mean is wen can u use it without it getting on the way cuz i always use the sunshade but i dont wanna get a spacer and have it get it the way

  • do u use the sunshade?

  • Yeah. It just depends.

  • Im just gona buy a mk2 death cu my ranyox is well a ... raynox,

i have never used spacers before so i dont know wich one of the products it is,so could you please tell me.!

  • cuz*

  • It's been in the description since... forever haha.

  • what are and where can i get spacers? would i have them in my house?

  • Rofl, props for potentially the funniest comment I've ever read on Youtube! :)

Spacers are essentially extensions of the space in between where a lens attaches to your camera and the actual image "receptor".

I don't think you'd find them lying around your house, unless your parents are professional videographers that use the same type of camera as you! XD

Check out the description, there's links in it. :)

  • funny? lol.. ok thnks for that!

  • where can you buy these spacers?

  • one spacer is the best

  • is this the opteka or century optics?

  • It's the O.G. Century.

  • 4:3 one spacer FTW

  • haha i love the wolf parade playing in the very beginning.

  • it shoudl i think everios have 37mm threads? right?

  • Hmm... Post a video response of your problem. A few millimeters of offset can change your vig.

  • 4:3 one spacer looks the best

  • agreed

  • OMG read the description

it says LINK FOR 37mm spacer ring then the link DAMN

  • thats inredible!

  • wat do the spacers do?

  • They create more space in between the lens and camcorder lens. More space = more image.

  • I have been using the same spacers and when I film with two the vig shakes alot. am i doing something wrong?

  • Yes. You have to turn off your Optical Image Stabilizer. Most new-age camcorders have them. Go into the options and turn it off, that should eliminate shake!

  • hey i noticed u said u had a gs320 im thinking of buying that same camera how do u like it?

  • It's a great camera. I am very happy with it! Nice quality and a great 3CCD camera.

I'd recommend looking into hard drive high definition cameras, standard is getting to be old. But the GS320 is an excellent camera for an excellent price!

  • hey thanks a lot for your help. and just two mores questions is the overall picture quality good in high quality? and is it compatible with macs? soory for all the questions and thanks again. the mac one is very important to me

  • what kinda spacers are you useing?

  • you dude is the Sony HDR-FX7 a good video camera

  • Uh...

    YEAH???

  • nice man, but if you want the nicest vig, take off the sun shade and use 3, maybe 2. not totally sure cuz i made my own spacer

  • vig is bad, not good

  • its all opinion your opinon. but if you tell me that you dont like the vx1kmk1 vig then you diserve to be raped viciously

  • dude how can you like vig? any vig is annoying

  • what, are you gay? who doesnt like vk1 vig?!

  • No im not gay. Having no vig makes it look more professional

  • i guess...like i said, its all opinion.

  • I think the vig is always like that on pannies. Mines like that as well.

  • like a litle just a litle vig looks the best

  • very cool video dude, where did u get ur death lens?

  • Thanks dude! I ordered it from B&H Photo. Great site, excellent pricing and shipping.

  • oh sweet thanks

  • My bad hahaha... I actually bought it from Adorama. But B&H is just as good, I bought a few things from there too.

  • oh ok i've been there before, how much was the all together price with the shipping?

  • Altogether like $310... I kept the receipt in case someone breaks it someday haha!

And shipping was fast, I don't remember the exact amount of days.

  • haha cool

  • whats a spacer?

  • dam now im gonna get it

  • 1 spacer seems to look the best.

  • do u use the sunshades?cuz i jsut got my mk2 and i cant use the sunshades in 16:9 but i can in 4:3. but if i dont use widescreen its obviously not as wide. so if i get spacers would i b able 2 use the sunshades in widescreen? btw the only reason i wanna use the sunshades is cuz 2 put the lens cap on i need tthe sunshades on

  • fuck vig....even though i have it in all my vids...

  • Just for the record, each spacer adds about half a centimeter between the lens and camera.

  • how can the colors and stuff look better with spacer?

  • Hmm... Do you mean in this video?

All the spacer really does is allow more light to get into the camera... So I guess it could make the colors look better?

  • i don't think im gonna use and spacers, it looks really professional with out any vig

  • i can see a difference in wideness between 0 and 1 spacer but i cant really see any difference between 1 and 2 spacers except more vig....

    i would use 1 spacer

  • where do you get spacers?

  • Description... :p

  • silly me! thanks man.

  • whats the point of spacers

  • Look in the video description

  • what about the oshea lens?

the screw-off kinda spacer thing on this camera and the pvgs80 and all of those?

would it be equivelent to 2 spacers?

  • I think I know what you're talking about, the little plastic piece over the actual lens that screws off?

No, its not equivalent to 2 spacers. This video was filmed with the stock spacer thing and the extra spacers.

  • yea its called the lecia, not oshea aha h

  • Hey guys...

Check out the video response I posted, it's some actual test footage of the camera/lens in use.

Thanks for commenting and rating, glad to see you're all enjoying it!

  • 4:3 with 1 spacer, no questions asked.

  • one spacer is best

  • two would look alot better.

  • stick with one

  • where do you get spacers at?

  • How do you make it so the camera doesn't have a moving vig? I have the same camera and i'm buying two spacers.

  • go to menu/advanced/optical image stablizer and turn it off.

  • Thanks!!!

  • 2 spacers has an unbelieveable amount of vig

  • no/1 spacer are best

  • the one spacer looked the best, but you can see the hood :/

  • Defenently use no spacers. Fair play if you have an MKI the vig on that looks good. But the vig on this looks horrible.

  • no spacer and 1 spacer looked the best

  • is the death lens really that good? it doesnt look like theres that much roundness without the spacers

its kinda dissapointing considering everyone uses them

  • need firewire for this cam?

  • Where can you buy the spacers? I can't find any of them shits.

  • "Spacers" are referred to "retaining rings" generally. I'll put a link up in the description of the site I ordered mine from

  • on the pvgs320, wouldn't the standard leica lens hood work as a spacer??

  • sort of... but not really. i tried taking it off, but there wasnt much of a difference between the leica lens hood being on or off.

the leica hood was on the whole time throughout that video.

  • thanks. i have the gs320 and i'm saving for the lens, but i hate the way lenses go on the lens hood because of the lip on the inside and i was just wondering if i really made any difference.. yeah. lol

  • you can also just get sum 37mm filters and break the filter part and there you go, way cheaper. fryz baby
