That was funny, check out the harry potter ones. But most people seem to be generalising in the comments. I'm a Christian and i have absolutely no problem with gay people, the bible says, judge not lest ye be judged. It isn't up to people to critisise others, just to get along. But i understand these view are still unacceptable in much of America.

Ennis remembering the cruel torture and murder of a gay couple in his childhood, for example, had nothing to due with gay marriage or even the so-called homosexual lifestyle that conservatives fear so deeply; it was simply a question of human decency.
Although the harsh (and unjustified) criticism it received from the religious right might tempt even progressive viewers to expect an 134-minute propaganda piece, the movie avoids didacticism entirely. Its not a political championing of gay marriage or any other agenda that ought to cause conservatives grief. No doubt, the true cause of their ill-at- easement was not the film or even politics but rather their own deep-rooted homophobia and stubborn adherence to outdated Bronze Age commandments
In defense of us "Christians", this is probably NOT the first time a movie was released that violates our values and ethics. It's just that this movie was released at a really inconvenient time in society when the petition for the laws for gays rights to marriage and issues pertaining to "hate crimes" were causing a lot of tension.
Even loving jesus is a stretch. I mean he ID a dude after all. Its just plain creepy. I am ok with Jesus as a good friend at best. He can come and hang out but that is it. Now Keanu Reeves well thats different.
