for free you couldnt argue really. Ive found some great stuff in the trash. Had a £600 home cinema amp from the rubbish worked 98% of the time perfectly just had a fault with protection circuit being over protective. Which was annoying half way through a film hence the owner must of lost his patience and binned it

Thats funny. I have those same speakers with the Standing Sub and they sound pretty damn good with a good receiver...not your cheap radio. LOL this guy. With 5.1 off the blu on my ps3...sound good and it was cheap.

This is funny. Have a set of these still in the box in my front room my neighbor wanted me to buy. He told me they were worth 3k as well but I started to do research before I purchased and this tops it. He's just a kid and he got robbed as well, bad thing is though I was about to go buy an amp to push them, so glad I didn't waste my money on that. Well, back to my original plan of buying Klipsch.

Also knowing a bit about audio helps.Its not just speakers/systems.The another scam involves lengths of seemingly bargain carpet.Once you buy & unroll Its low quality & much shorter than it appears at first glance! My Mum was conned like this.I followed the guys to a pub.When they went in I let the tyres down on their van!BASTARDS in a word! :) Best wishes!

They were the Acoustic whatever ones! @stevobath ya people are always mad when they find out they got burned, but lucky most of the people despite being angry removed or changed the ads (from wanting 900$ to wanting 9$) or just keeping them for posterity. I jumped a thrift shop for posting the ads and crap and ended up threatening them with a call to the local paper if they did not appropriately price them. I cant tolerate fo-inelegance.. They did not know and did not give the local teach expert credit due to they're hope and greed.

I have one of these system, luckily i didn't paid anything for them, but I am glad to say it sound much way better than those $200 to $300 dollars surround systems sold at stores.

the thing is divinci is a high wattage systems you can play a mp3 on them and thats the sound you get hook them up to 1000watts system an then your music comes to life a bigg differance between mp3 & 1000 watt systems

@0929breezy uh no, it isn't. if it were, the coils would have been wound with a heavier guage wire and case properly sealed. the assumption of wattage i gave are based on the coil wire, not the so called spec of the speakers. Please don't try to spin these speakers into something they are not. the amp you see in video is 100 watts RMS per channel FOR REAL, the speakers that go with this amp has coil wire just over 2x the thickness. Sucky music is because of youtube.

I don't blast speakers, loudness isn't my thing so these work OK since I know they don't have any real power handling.

@DallasSpeakerman i cant knowingly sell these to people, This is here to help people get though the issue if the got nailed. however I do believe that people who don't take care in these situations deserve to be ripped, how else would they learn? I could see they are not worth x hundred $ at a glance. but thanks for the offer though even at 80 is still a bit more than they are worth. Maybe with a crappy amp they could touch on 80$.

@speakerguy23 most of it is the crap that came with the camera. youtube DMCA continues to become more intrusive, and I have to find unfamiliar sound to play. I have had cases where video is doing fine for years and then DMCA suddenly zaps it.

@Puffycloud123 sulk for a few minutes that you probably paid too much for junk. The caps need to be changed, they need some filling and to be properly sealed. this will enhance the sound by allot. also consider attaching the wires like I did and don't bump them too loud since they do not have even close to the rated power handling. they still make ultra budget surround speakers, or throw away out doors (not in sun) but by no means should you pass the scam along. that is unfair for everyone.

I would prolly use the woofers as midbasses in car audio systems, the tweeters I would use for someting else, and the sub I would take the amp out and toss the rest.
