hey dude. There are so many songs in the world that were played in different tunings so if you don't wanna keep tuning your guitar you will only be able play stuff that is written in Standard E. That would be very sad if you listen to a lot of different kinds of music and different bands ;)

I always play by ear. The most tabs on the net are wrong or don't exist :(
