MUSICALLY they have nothing in common with Nirvana .& with Soundgarden even less. If i'm wrong then name one example.His voice sounds something like Cobain but that's PART of the reason they got signed by Fred Durst i'm sure since he's a huge fan of Kurt.& since STP was mentioned they also got accused of copying Pearl Jam because Weiland's singing style sounded somthing like Vedders. Again musically nothing in common.They were 100's of miles apart & probably had no idea about each other.

To all the people trashing them for copying bands like Nirvana, and Soundgarden (I don't get that, more like STP or AIC), it's not like they just came out. If memory serves, they came out in '91 or '92 which means they were sort of contemporaries of grunge bands, and definitely were of bands like STP. It makes sense that they would have a similar sound.

You dont know if he was using autotune.... just because its a "live" video doesnt mean they had a great engineer subtely nudge notes here and there.... and process the whole thing. Autotuneing and pitch correction is something that can be done even if you were listening to him singit live in front of your face. As soon as something goes into a mic... it can be processed.
