@GFRomaji I found out after some research that the voice actor for Zero (Goku) in the HG dubs is named Barbara Goodson and yes she was the VA for Lahari in disgaea interestingly enough

Dragon Ball Z didn't become popular until Toonami picked it up. The early dub had low ratings too when it was on syndication.

I went on wikipedia. It said that Harmony gold renamed Goku Zero. I think that's totally stupid. But the hamony gold dub got cancelled before it was able to air

I still find it hilarious that Bulma is referred to as Lena in the harmony gold version yet her shirt still says Bulma on it.

I wish that harmony gold's other escapade into anime, robotech, was also unsuccessful so Macross would be easy to get in the west (robotech chopped episodes from three unrelated shows, Macross one of them, and fused the footage to make a frankenstien esque monster.)

streamline pictures I believe was owned by the same guy that ran harmony gold. Streamline also did a number of ghibli film dubs for use on japan airlines as an alternate language track.
