I tested this in a virtual machine, and I think i found out how to beat this virus. Here's how I did it...

1. send ctrl-alt-delete

2. access the task manager

the task manager MUST be set to always be on top

3. end the rawr.exe process. the matrix screen should be gone.

4. as for the shutdown, QUICKLY, hit start > run, and type "shutdown -a"

5. go to your Startup folder and delete "rawr.bat"

6. go to your C drive and delete rawr.exe

7. delete matrix.exe and click.bat. they should be together.

For step 4, the path is "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

You may need to let the system shut down at first or restart it. I had to.

(I had to do this manually, as I tested this under Windows 2000, so no shutdown.exe.)

it isn't unstoppable. your average user wouyld have trouble stopping it though. all you have to do is reboot into safe mode, and stop it through msconfig.

@axeshredstorm69 If the virus was coded well(Which looks like it was) It would disable any "help" commands, like regedit, taskmngr, and shutdown -a.
