  • Great song and touching video. greetings from Polish

  • this is my favorite song of all time.

  • Wow when I first heard this song I thought she was talking about her boyfriend or something I had no idea what it was really about

  • this song is amazing.

  • i love this music

    <3

  • "Love this song! I first heard it as background music on Direct TV's channel list, and just had to look it up! I don't yet know a thing about her ~ Is she very politically and socially outspoken? (Guess I'll look that up, too.) I DO know, though, that she WAS on the Crooked "Villain" video, because I came across that when searching,

    .

  • is this the same chick on that crooked i track??

  • bush is a douche bag! this video is sad and he did completely nothing but make this world worse

  • another Bush hater... President Bush really messed up with Katrina, Right? Don't blame the corrupt dem Mayor of NO, he had nothing to do with it right. Sally... I know you. i went to school with you... Some of your old classmates went to Iraq... some are still there.... Don't talk about what you don't know. Until you take up a rifle and stand a post...SHUT UP!!!

  • You don't have to be in the military to speak, a blind man can see the US had no business in Iraq!

  • Wow! A really moving video!

  • Great song! And it sucks that when the country experiences problems, the president takes 99% of the blame. Ouch.

  • @SombraBlade well thats because it is his fault he runs the country and he should man up and take reasonable for his action and this is all bush and cheneys fault for what we have gotting into and now its obama fault hes getting to be like bush

  • TY Sally- great video and also ty heatherh494-we should all start in our own backyards and A person shouldnt complain if they havent done anything about it. "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."

  • i love this song and the video is brilliant. Finally someone using this medium to actually send a real message.

  • Love the song and the message! The only thing you left out is Iraq costs $10 billion a month!

  • Love the song! And the message too! The only thing you left out was Iraq costing $10 billion a month!

  • omg..i cant get anuff of this song..i dont wish the war in iraq would stop..I WISH IT NEVER STARTED..but since it did, i do wish it would stop..i love this song:)

  • war in iraq must stop!

  • when will everyone realize the prez isnt the only one who has a say in this "free" country. and y arent the rest of us out there helping out, instead of sending money over to other countrys, y cant we help our neighbor in need. i love this video cuz even my 10yo kid gets it. ty sally for talking to those of us willing to LISTEN!!

  • Thankfully, we are now approx 6 months away from the end of the imperialism that is the george w bush legacy. May our country finally heal, not only internally, but also interntionally, when Barack Obama takes the oath of office in January.

"WE THE PEOPLE", not "WE THE RICH WHITE CONSERVATIVES"

  • Video is the truth, does anyone care that the economy is in hell, will anyone hold this administration responsible?

  • Nevermind the music or the "message," this video looks like a high schooler made it hahaha holy shit. Shitty camera + stock photos + crappy font + hipster chick.

  • I agree completely. Professionalism is necessary to be effective and now that bad quality "youtube style" is becoming mainstream I fear what the future will hold.

  • naard

  • BUSH IS A FUKIN RETARD!

  • If people can't see that Bush helped create all these problems we have then they are blind. This is a real video with a fantastic message and once again kudos to Sally for having the guts to say it. I think someone who takes a stand should be applauded or else we just end up watching the next mindless Britney video...

  • All hype. Bush didn't put up that banner, the aircraft carrier crew did. He didn't compliment "Brownie" after New Orleans fiasco but before. All of this stuff is junk. Use your pretty voice for good, not manipulation.

  • If it takes a poorly edited music video on Youtube for you to take notice of the economic and foreign policy shortfalls of your own government despite years of bad decision making and missed opportunities, I'm not sure if you should be allowed to have opinions... about anything. Leave politics to people who occasionally read a newspaper at least.

  • It like a open letter to Bush. He's so out of touch with the people, its not even funny.

  • incredible message, get the republicans out!

  • Yawn ... This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

  • this video is the shit!!!!!!!KUDOS TO WHOM EVER MADE IT

    CHEERS!!

  • Hey Sally!,

Olivia Emma and I are waitin' for ya to come back! Tell Marley i said hi can you send us some pic of u guys? I'll call ya soon! email us!

  • as we get closer to the election, I enjoy this song more and more. I just wish everyone in this country could see this. We can make a chance, don't stay the same!

  • I really enjoyed the song but the video is awful. To me, it is a sad example of our generation: completely unable to look beyond what you're fed on t.v. and internet. Imagine if Hussein were still ruling Iraq... imagine if people had A) evacuated N.O. when they were explicitly told to and B) HELPED the people left behind instead of flying around filming them waving from their roofs? Imagine if everyone were adult enough to realize when they can't afford to buy a house? Bush did this? nope

  • I admit, I am not a fan of "sensitive girlie" music, but this video was VERY revealing and sadly touching. Wish more music videos were made with a message like this. Good job!

  • I heard this song on 97.5 way back when.

The song got to me when I first heard it,

and this video just makes it worse (in a good way)! :)

    LOVE iT!

  • Kinda disturbing pictures of dead people

but it really gives a good message

  • This song is so sad...but i love it so much...and personally i think that the government does care so much for those people cause they aren't doing anything about it!!

  • This is an amazing song. Only 23 comments so far? Wait, till this gets popular. It will.

It actually have a different, versatile message from the mindless junk.

  • 23? There are over 200 comments.

  • I just heard your song on Sirius and thought I'd check you out. The video is nothing like I thought. I honestly teared up. kudos girl!

  • I love this song, but what I like more is that people are actually having intelligent conversations about the video. Agree or disagree, it gives an overview of the Bush years and I'm just glad people are finally talking about how to move forward. It will be interesting to see what happens.

  • I also like this song. However,I think people like to blame others for their misfortune.People don't live within their means.Oil has nothing to do with war.Does anyone know how much PROFIT the oil company had last year? Also we will in a military town and the news isn't correct. There are great things happening for the better.Funny how so many have forgotten 911.Yes people make mistakes but building back a place that flooded and killed many, how smart is that? It's the blame game.

  • War.. blame the politians... but Oil prices have nothing to do with Bush.. Katrina was an act or Nature/God.. come on folks. Stop getting your news from Rosie O'Donnell

  • I don't think she's blaming them for Hurrican katrina, I think it's about the lack of action and help that was forthcoming after the disaster. it's true, Katrina was an act of Nature, or God, depending on what you believe in.

  • I like this song. Harmony is very good. :)

  • Please practice what you listen to, gang. Don't vote Republican or Democrat, because it's the same crap disguised differently. VOTE FOR A THIRD PARTY

  • This video is always in my head, what a great message and spectacular song.

  • May God have mercy on our souls, because the present administration has forgotten our people and our soldiers. I can only pray that I have taught my children that there is a better way. Thank you Sally for telling my children what I could not, that this is a mess that we have left for them to clean up,and I hope that they can do what my generation could not.

  • Sally,

I found you on a local radio station called Z99.5 (WZPL) when they did their "homegrown buzz".

I never thought that this would be this type of video for this song but it so absolutely amazing and can spark anyone's interest. Let me just say that you give Indiana such a good name.

  • such a great song, it is an absolute shame that this video hasn't been seen by the mainstream public yet. This should just be constantly playing on CNN. Go Democrats!

  • this song is so good and the message is so strong, i wish everyone could watch this. why doesn't MTV play thought provoking videos like this? What a song too, i can't get it out of my head!

  • the most thought provoking channel that i know of is Current TV. Actually, its the only thought provoking channel i know of. Sad but true. After watching the Tila Tequila spring break on mtv, i was so disguisted i don't think ive tuned in since. And for the video, amazing message and really made me rethink some aspects of the bush administration and the upcoming election.

  • Nice song, but video is propaganda! Where were the elected officials in New Orleans during Katrina? Why did so many people stay behind? It was poorly run at the state level. Why are we blaming FEMA and GWB? The war is also a political football. Order, infrastructure, education, opportunity and (most importantly) hope have been given to the Iraqui people, but that doesn't make good headlines. Our troops have made the difference in that country and I salute them!!!

  • Stop watching fox news, this war has killed one million Iraqi's, and over 4 million have left there homes, Facts: No electricity, children are drinking sewer H2O, 14.000 pound U.S. bombs pound Iraq every day, that's, HOPE,and this illegal war has completely bankrupted the U.S.A.

Our enemies are not in Iraq, They are in Washington, "The Project for the American Century" look it up.

Politically illiterate Americans like you, are duped by these lies, inform your self, stop watching bad TV!!!!!

  • And then there is I who voted for him... twice. Unfortunately the truths that are available now where not then, nor did I ever imagine a president would betray the constitution and people so greatly. I am not ashamed that I voted for him, for I did so with the knowledge I had at the time. With the knowledge I have now... he should be impeached and sent prison.

  • I love the harmonies in the chorus -- they underline the intensity of the imagery in the lyrics and video very well. Very cool. you rock!

  • Beautiful, just plain beautiful!! Keep touching hearts like you do, and the world will open theirs up for you..

  • hey sal... i luv the video... i will be the 1st 2 admit that i took the song 2 mean another way be 4 i saw the video, but having saw it i see the beauty that music lends the listener, artist & the world. i can hear a song & it touch me in a completely different way than u, the artist, intended & thats not a bad thing. i could then, as i did here, watch the video & the song lends its self 2 a whole new meaning 4 me. so thank u 4 creating something that now has multiple meanings 4 me. xoxo casi

  • WOW...I'm ashamed

  • 5 days ago Threein60 posted that'The US has done the most good & has given the most to the world'. About a country who's economy is born from slavery and the oppression of its native race.Burning of midwives,so called witches @ Salem. A bloody civil war. The Panama,Nicaragua and Afghanistan during the cold war.Now Iraq,Afghanistan and possibly Iran. So enlighten me> what good is this person talking about? The World Bank? Whose every project has been fraught with economic disaster!? What good?

  • The war sickens me. However, the US has been responsible for both bad and good-as have many other nations. The US enjoys wealth and power but has at times fallen prey to the temptation of ill-dignified use of that power-knowing they could get away with atrocities but not stopping before they were committed. People often "do good things" to make themselves feel better about the bad they've done. Is our Government employing this tactic? Conscience can be powerful-especially in an election year.

  • I say good riddance to Bush and I hope that Americans don't let the Republicans continue to do this. It is time for a change.

  • kinda like "dear mister president". but impressing video, i was at my limit to cry.

  • I just wanted to say that coming from someone who DIDN'T vote for him in either election...Good Riddance to bad rubbish. Guarantee had we not had this war, "tax cuts", etc- we wouldn't be on the brink of recession!!!

  • an asin here. I know, that not all americans are bad. But since the iraq invasion, and all those war. I've become a bit phobia of america, as i got this perception that asian/muslim will be treated as a 2nd class people. After seeing this clip, i know that not all people are like that. There are still alot more, that is not ethnocentric and prejudice. thank you soo much for that.

  • piece of shit cowards would rather live on your knees than die on your feet.

  • We need to remember how incredibly lucky we are to be alive. We need to be grateful for everything in our lives. We need to be willing to be the change we want to see in the world. Thank you for this video.

  • Republican Conservative Goodness at its progressive worst.

  • crazies. buns up.

  • i don't know what one canadian's opinion matters in this whole thing, but i personally would like Bush to be held accountable to the thousands of lives lost because of his actions and inaction. when he no longer has the senate to hide behind, i would most definately raise my voice loudly to see justice served.

but what do i know, i'm just an ignorant canadian.

  • a lot of people feel the same way all over the world, the problem is there really isn't much we can do...what can we really do? Everyday Americans, people are too busy making a living to go protest, it's the truth.

  • Dear WMBrown,

Your opinion counts as much as anyone in the world, besides you are absolutely correct in what you wrote. Now, I must dry my tears of remorse and shame for the people who voted for bush in both elections.

  • Please go to Brad blog and find out about the machines that 80% of America vote on. They are Diebold and ES&S, our very democracy is being threatened by computerized voting machine frand there is no way to verify that the voters choice are actually the one that count in the final tallies, don't take my word for it check it out. Bush did not win in 2004, but, the corporate media does not report about this, and in 2000 Bush carried out a judical coup,, go th Brad Blog.

  • While at the same time these same "small goverment" types are expanding spending, throwing money at corporations, giving more "tax incentives" to fat cats such as oil companies, airlines, and Halliburton, which has bilked the taxpayer in Iraq and Kuwait. Call them what they are "subsidies"... and this is supposed to be a free market?

  • It is amazing, how the Republicans have been able to make so many people act, especially vote, against their own economic interest, to demonize the poorest and most vulnerable sections of society as welfare sponges. How is it that people who are likely one illness away from poverty can believe that cutting government social programs is the way.

  • i keep watching this over and over and it makes me so sad. Great song and video.

  • LoriNap it is clear you are not THAT educated, at least not on the topics you are speaking on. YES, we do turn away millions of unisured people every year for treatmnents they need....I know several, several examples...unfortunatly. I am not attacking you, just making an observation. Don't buy the propoganda, get te truth underneath you.

  • WOW.....I am 58 years old....this is a really

great music video....WHAT IT SAYS TO US ALL.

    BRAVO. BRAVO.

I can't wait til HE is out of the WHITE HOUSE !!!

  • omg so sad im going to cry

  • Still concerned that a day ago I posted a comment, saw it on the list, later came back to see that it had been removed. It was an eloquent and poignant addition. I quickly typed in 'why has this been removed?'Then I scrabbled to rewrite what i had originally written, but it had lost its well worded logic. I then received an 'offical Sally Anthony' reply.I'm now wondering Y it was removed in the first place! If this video was created inorder to promote human equality, then practise what u preach.

  • As do I--on both the education and the taxes. So what is your position on any of these issues? War, taxes, economy, homeless. I've been clear about my ideas and issues, as related to the video...which is the purpose of this comment section. I'm surprised that a well-educated individual would attack others without offering their own opinions on the issues. You might be surprised to know that I support gay rights. I support minorities. I am neither democrat or republican.

  • It still makes me sick to think of the Katrina victims waiting for water and to be rescued in their own country - we are such a rich nation - these images cannot be forgotten - video is awesome

  • The majority of democrats who want to raise taxes don't care if they are raised because they don't PAY taxes. You shouldn't have the right to vote in this country and elect who spends our money unless you are "a paying customer. And many of Americans have died to make this country the free place that it is. Why do we have so many immigrants if we are so terrible? We've defended with our veterans, those countries that are now bad-mouthing us. Ignoring terrorism only strengthens it.

  • and republicans want to cut taxes, but still spend, 15 billion a month on a war, .... and leave the next generation to find a way to balance the budget?

  • Cutting taxes puts more money in the hands of consumers, who spend money in our free market & make the economy better. And look how low interest rates are right now. We're trying. The budget would look a lot better if we cut out programs that allow able people to live free in this country without working? In other countries, people would take ANY job to feed their family. If we have govt medical care, it will be like the veterans hospitals. Have you been to one? It will be the worst mistake ever

  • It is unfortunate what we have had to spend on the war. We forget 9-11 too quickly. We haven't had another attack since, b/c we are working against them. The "head in the sand" nature of Bill Clinton toward terrorism is what allowed them to build the plan for 9-11. It took several years of planning, which started in Clinton's presidency. Pretending terrorism doesn't exist won't do any good. We aren't fighting for nothing...like some may thing. Would you rather fight this fight on US soil?

  • DO you know that bush has given tax cuts to the very rich in 2001 and 2003, and wants to make them permanent, I don't think bush is a democrat, the rich are bushs friends. I'm sure you don't know, but we are in a war, that bush lied our country into, 935 times from 911 to 2003 when we started killing 1 million Iraqie, "they don't hate us for our freedom" as bush likes to say they hate us because we invaded a country that did not have anything to do with 911. It is clear you are not informed. Sad!

  • 95% of homeless people are mentally ill. Being institutionalized would be the only way to keep them off the streets. Medicaid helps poor. The median incomers who don't have insurance probably spend more on alcohol, cigarettes, and lottery tickets than monthly insurance premiums would cost. Let's focus more on funding education for better jobs, so people can get their own insurance...and self-worth...instead of how to handout free healthcare.

  • You obviously know nothing about institutionalization and the medicaid system of public mental health care. "Institutionalization" is the MOST expensive and LEAST effective way to treat psychiatric illness. You are ill informed. You also suggest that we "cut out programs" that allow people to live "free". Thats medicaid. The federal and most state governments give health insurance companies the ability to exclude mental health coverage from almost all policies.

  • So once medicaid is gone, who funds treatment? Do us all a favor and educate yourself before you start talking publicly about things you know little about. You should start by reading President George Bush's New Freedom Initiative on Mental Health.

  • I didn't say we we SHOULD institutionalize mentally ill people. I was saying that unfortunately when dealing with mental illness, they end up on the streets, by no one's fault...no yours or mine or Bush's. I am educated. What's your level of education? And I was speaking about issues, not personally attacking anyone like you felt you needed to.

  • Nor did I say we should get rid of Medicaid. What I am against is giving free health care to those that COULD afford it if they chose it as a priority for how they spend their money. Also, we do not turn people away for medical treatment in this country for not being able to pay and never have. Those of us who pay are footing the bill for those without insurance by having to pay rising medical costs and premiums.

  • The "free" programs I was speaking of are welfare-type assistance...not Medicaid or food stamps or WIC. I want to see us spend that money on free daycare vouchers for young mothers and help with their education, either higher learning or trade school, so that they can get a good job and feel good about themselves, instead of depending on welfare longterm.

  • WIC, food stamps, and medicaid are generally considered welfare- you must be at or below the poverty level to receive these benefits. You do state that institutionalization is the only way to keep the mentally ill off the streets. Not true. They "end up on the streets" because of an inability to access services that should but do not exist. This country's mental health delivery system has been replace by prisons. I have a post-doctoral education and I pay a lot of taxes, incidentally.

  • And I don't feel the need to belittle other people's ideas to make myself look better or feel better.

  • This video sickens me and angers me, all at the same time. Natural disasters have contributed to gas prices. The US in general was not prepared for terrorism or natural disasters of the magnitude we have faced. I wasn't prepared, George Bush wasn't prepared, and no president before has been prepared.

  • how it that exxon can post 40 BILLION in profits?

  • make your vote count!

  • This video was ok. My dad and 3 of my Uncles are fighting in the war and I support them all the way. Although I miss them at times. One thing they tell me all the time is to support them all the way b/c God gave them this mission.

  • God didn't give them this mission; Bush did. He's a warmonger and a liar, and he doesn't care how many people die over there as long as he and his cronies get their cut of the profit. I support our troops as well--that's why I believe they need to be brought back out of that hellhole, back here where they can defend the country against *real* threats.

  • ever since bush entered office nothing good has happened

  • threein60

    lorraineluciano

The world is a dangerous place couse of you, UK and Israel (simply count agression wars per country in last 10, or 20 or 50 years).

Who is clamoring you? Which countries votes for your invasions? (marshal islands and micronesia, wow!!!)

You're a "beacon of hope" for who? Lower class mexicans and...

BETTER STOP WAGIN WARS, LEAVE THE WORLD IN PEACE, FIX YOUR ECONOMY AND YOUR CORRUPT POITCAL SISTEM.

    (not leftist)

    (well educated)

    (very well informed)

  • The US has done the most good and has given the most to the world then any other country in the world. Educate your self to the facts and let go the reterect. Peace does not mean the absence of war. We live in a world dictated by the agressive use of force. Either you fight for good or you succome to evil. Americans have laid their lives down for other countries, over and over again. You should be thanking who ever you pray to that the US is here and does the job that no other country could do.

  • Conquerors always claim to have the "best interest" of the conquered in mind. Ask the Native Americans how they feel about all the good we've done for them. We brought them democracy, right?

  • awesome video but sounds video does not fit the lyrics really. I agree with another on here, sounds more like a love song to a past boyfriend or friend or something. But you can't take away the fact that it is cool and got us talking bout politics here.

  • Left wing, uneducated and uninformed dribble. If it were not for the greatest country in the world (USA) the world would be a very dangerous place. I'll put this in the catagory of blame america first crowd. Grow up and stop the crying!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • USA is best for installing dictators in other countries, starting wars, and pretending that Suddam Hussein and Al Queda are the same thing. For Human Development Index (standard of living) USA is 14! not #1, and yes your hated France is higher than you.

  • Oh really, I Love my country but I fear my government, they (Bush and thugs) lied our nation into war with Iraq, and now they want war with Iran, Bush loves politically illiterate people like you, you are easily duped into believing there lies.

You be a good patriot, rent another storage space, and go shopping, just wrap yourself in an American flag and go to sleep ZZzzzzz. You where lied to, and you are very uninformed, stop watching fox! But, I guess in your case Ignorance is Bliss. Very Sad

  • Where is the outrage? Where is the compassion?

  • it's very easy and oh so chic to dump on america, esp if you're not american. but this is still the country that everyone seems to be clamoring to emulate, & we're still a beacon of hope to millions. i can't stand what bush and his minions have done to the reputation of this nation, but those of you who bad mouth america, especially those who live elsewhere, i think you need to learn a bit of history- going back further than the past 7 years. then maybe you won't sound so foolish and ignorant.

  • "Clamoring to emulate"?? Everyone hates us and the whole Bush cadre. The Chinese are trying to follow our business model because it generates an incredible amount of money - not because we're so humanitarian and we do so much good. Wake up! This situation did not develop overnight (or over the past 7 years). The CIA and major banking corporations have been working on this little project for several generations. YOU do some research on US interventions in other nations; you'll see what I mean.

  • Well, I know that most people in Australia REALLY HATE the US, but not individual US citizens, except for both George Bushs' who should die in Iraq waiting for health care funding.

  • what can we do with all the evil and suffering in the world!?

i think the youth can play a bigger part, im 15, and there is so much i try to do that would not come across any of my peers's minds.

we need to all hold hands, all 6 billion of us.

  • You need to do more than hold hands, your country is in real trouble, bush took us to war on lies, which has been proven time and time again, two weeks ago a study came out that the bush administration lied 935 times from 911 to the war in Iraq, now, one million innocent Iraq men, women and children have died because of these lies, and four thousand America's.

I'm glad you know there is something awful going on with our government, be informed and speak out

  • Awesome and sad. Canada seems like a nice place to live...

  • big day tomorrow, let's change things!

  • I wish you were kidding. Tomorrow's not a big day. Just more of the same, unfortunately. All candidates funded by the same corporate folks that got us into and keep us in Iraq.

Please stop kidding yourself with false hope and take a more objective look at what is happening. That is the first step towards real change. A real assessment!

  • Firstly,i am concerned that sale's have entered the equation. I know of stuggling artist that have amazing content without financial reward. Sales & money is not something I would base someones personal worth on. Secondly, falling in love with a political leader is not a degrading ailment, we all fall in love, its human. Thirdly, im making a comment based on my own assessment. If Sally feels so strongly about these images perhaps she could translate them into her song writing.Or short films.

  • what are you talking about? How do you have any idea about song writing or what her motivations were in writing the song and doing the video? Were you there when she wrote the song? Short films, giving advice on song writing, you must really be an expert in these things.

  • obviously just a hater. Great video and message Sally.

  • I'm starting to feel this is a love song directed @ someone in Sally Anthony's life. The imaging is relevant to Americas situation but where is the connection? Is this just a management tool to further her career? Its like listening to music and watching current affairs. Unless Sally was an intern at the Whitehouse>smoking cigars with Bush, where is the relevance? Social awareness is important but this is not a political song. Unlike Pink, whose song had a political message.

  • Respectfully responding to your comment. You could not be more wrong. Sally Anthony has been an independent artist for 10 years. She has sold over 200,000 records. Not only was the content her idea, she released this video against the wishes of management and her label. This video has resulted in death threats and show cancellations. If this was a male artist you wouldn't degrade her with a Monica Lewinski insult. Sally is an artist that is taking a stand no matter the cost.

  • Y did my comment just get removed? Is Americas freedom of speech that damaged?

  • HELL NAH VOTE FOR HILLARY!!!!!

  • This video made me cry. Is it election day yet? Can't wait for Nov...

  • Great video! The war mongers need to see the images of what this war and administration is doing to people. Bush has assaulted not just Iraq and Afghanistan, but America. His war on the disadvantaged has he shredded the social net to give more money to his wealthy friends and corporate cronies. He likewise has shredded the Bill of Rights and the concept of separation of powers with signing statements and the destruction of Habeas Corpus. Way to go Bushie - heck of a job.

  • hey dumbshit this isnt a real war!!!!!!!congress never decleared war!!!!!!and u cant fight a war on terror like busch thinks!!!!terror is a TACTIC!!!!!!!u cant fight a tactic!!!!

  • BTW you think whoever wins is somehow going to make it all better, you are pathetic, look at the bigger picture.

  • I think when you say pathetic you are self-referencing. Wake up, use your brain. Get involved and make a difference rather than tearing down those who are doing something. You can be part of the problem or part of the solution. Which are you? Never mind, I already know.

  • such an idealist, I used to think like you that getting involved is going to make a difference . Its the old 80 20 rule, only 20 percent of people will ever be motivated to do anything while 80 percent are sheep. Accept defeat you can't change the world, obama can't, clinton can't no one can. Its depressing I know, the only solution ?

  • hey greenshaga. Extraction is the only solution, that is let the sheep graze contently live your life the way you believe and surround yourself with like minded people and leave the rest to remain ignorant if they don't believe there is a problem how are you going to get them to change?

Problem ? solution ? I am neither, that is such a cliche did you get it off a bumper sticker ?

  • I wasn't directing the pathetic piece to people who beieves they are trying to make a difference, if they believe they can then good on them, human nature being what it is I don't believe it is possible. Good luck

  • its a race to the bottom, and you are winning america. Greed by a powerful few has allready sealed your fate, and you don't even realise. How much profit did Exxon mobil announce on the weekend ? But what do you care about ? Britney in hospital again. Id say wake up but most of you are allready braindead just look at how many hits this amazing vid hasn't had.

  • Don't worry we're not all stuck on TV news, I stopped watching a long time ago, and I know there are more like me, unfortunatley not enough have decided to find info elswhere, but hopefully soon. Stop watching TV people, get the info for yourself you are being told lies what to think and how to feel, is that what you want? Get the info yourself and make up your own mind!

  • People WAKE UP....Vote for Ron Paul while you still can...

  • Its not just the war thats killing America. The introduction of the global economy has alot to answer for. Production of just about everything has gone to China. The Chinese economy is booming. The goods they are producing were once made in America by people like yourselves. Do as we do in Australia- Dont buy 'made in China'! You may be saving someones job,a local business or a company from going offshore. Be involved in saving your own economy. Peacefull resistance. And tell a friend.

  • i don't think it matters that obama and clinton won't pull out. they were chanting "race doesn't matter" after the sc primaries. i read obama only got 25% of the white vote. he has to win the entire south. there's still a strong chance we'll have a rep pres next term just because our country's too backwards to go after the only lifeboat on a sinking ship.

  • Here's the problem -- the only candidates who actually said they would stop the war in Iraq right away was Kucinich and Edwards. But they couldn't get lazy, fatass, stupid Americans to vote for them so they dropped out.

There is nobody to vote for. Wake up. Hillary or Obama both said they will not get the US out of Iraq right away. Now Hillary says it but she is lying.

    We're screwed.

    Nice video tho.

  • even though i dont really understand the government and i can not vote yet, i can not wait to geta new president. he has done no good for the US.

  • When will people wake up? Government does not work, will never work. Not for the last 10,000 years and not the next.

    Liberty first. Aggression never.

    Choose Market Anarchy.

  • Ron Paul recognizes the dire need for a change in the federal government.

    Ron Paul 2008!

  • There is NO difference between the two partys. they are bought and sold to the big corporations, and the media sell their lies, clinton put NAFTA on the people in 1994, and that was the end of good paying jobs, our country is in big trouble, became informed, stop watching bad teevee, if you love your country. Do something. And the voting machines can be hacked. Go to Brad Blog, and learn about Diebold and Es&S. Without fair and honest elections, we have no Democracy.

  • Here here nan3663! You are totally right.

  • Wow, great video Sally, it takes guts to actually put something like this out there. I remember when Eminem did something similar to this before the last election and it was too late. Hopefully this was done in time for people to make a change. Alot of people aren't going to want to see this because of the pictures, but we need to make them see it. Someone should make it a chain letter and pass this thing on. We can't go another 4 years like this, people HAVE to take action! Bravo Sally!

  • We should send this video out to everyone we know who supports McCain for president. He says it's okay if we stay in Iraq for 100 years. Of course, no way can I ever vote republican again after Bush and Cheney. But we do need to educate the 20% who still support them and will vote for more war. This is what they get with another republican in the White House.

  • Awesome!! It's time we put more graphic pictures in the face of the American people so they can see the collateral damage this monster has done to our country and to the world. Bravo!!!

  • Right, allthings. The function of the war in Afghanistan was to get the heroin flowing again... case in point.

Prescott Bush was selling aircraft fuel to the Nazis well into WWII; it took an act of Congress to make him stop. Meanwhile, after the war his money was protected by not fully examining the real reason for the concentration camps: slave labor. IB Farben has continued and is the Bush family connection to the pharmaceutical industry. Wonder why so many people are on meds?

  • Kucinich would have put an end to the corruption in the White House and the Congress--the same corruption that will continue to go on either under the female Clinton, Obama and certainly any of the Republicans...

But Kucinich wasn't given the opportunity to bring his message to the people. Which of course makes perfect sense when the Media performs its lap dog function to benefit the wealthy (Democrat or Republican)!!!

  • Bush, Clinton, Obama, McCain, there all members of the CFR. Any member of the CFR does not care about us. Wake up people! Govern=control, ment=mind. What else do you need? When Clinton had the US economy at a surplus, they punished him w/Monica Lewinski. When Kennedy tried, they killed him. They almost got Reagan. See "Empire of the City" on Google video to learn how deep the rabbithole goes. The matrix has you and it is time to wake up! PLEASE!

  • Let the revolution begin

  • I live in Australia, which i think is an excellent country that is unfortunately starting to mimic the American trends.

I personally HATE bush with all my spirit. We have NO RIGHT to be killing INNOCENT HUMANS. He has NO RIGHT to send people off to die! He wont even help people in America. I hope the son of a bitch rots in hell and we never have such a facisit rule our country.

I am a mother... If you did that to my child you would be hurt. GREAT SONG SALLY! GOOD WORK!

  • Obama is a fucking terriorist

  • racist

  • I agree!

  • OBAMA FOR CHANGE

  • AGREED!

  • Before you go vote for Hiliary, google the Clinton Chronicles and watch the documentary I think you might change your mind.

  • Awesome..I hope people get out to their caucuses or their primaries and make history!

I am going Tuesday and voting for Hillary

  • America was headed for the wall before Bush (the fool) got in. The seeds were already planted. He put his foot on the accelerator and floored it. His going is not the cure, but it may stave off more extreme counter-productivity. The time for awakening near....let's hope it happens because it is not inevitable.

  • RE: Bush. What goes around comes around. Even Jesus won't be able to save his damned, rotten, vile soul.

  • Voters voted for Bush because they bought his lies about tax cuts. An American making $50,000/yr got a $51 tax cut per year.

An American making $200,000/yr got a $29,000 tax cut per year!

    If you're an American....VOTE!

    If you don't vote you can't bitch/moan!

  • I agree. People really need to get up and vote. I can't yet, as I'm too young, but I think that's a good thing. People my age don't know enough about our government and situation yet to make a good decision about it.

  • great video. i don't think we'd be in the mess if bush had been elected twice. hopefully our n
