well, actually all cars crush, it is called crumple zones, oh yeah cos your'e too dumb to know that, and also the kuga did crush a lot but it didn't intrude much into the compartment and at least ford has a knee, and side airbags, unlike the 2009 CITROEN!

dude renaults cars are the safest not in the world but somewhere in the top 3, almost all cars have scored maximum point for crash test (5ncap stars) so yeah maybe volvo xc60 is safe but othervolvos are not, and about ford i think they are ok but their average ncap star score is 4 stars,but over all the best cars (not by safenest)in the world are nissan kias,toyotas,...sorry GM, ford and renault but fact is the fact:D...about this kuga i thoght it was going to be better at crash test:S.peace man

i appears that european safety tests are pretty much the same as american ones. so why isn't this car availbale in american? i would love to have this car. i saw on the ford uk sight that the deisel kuga can get 46 mpg. if america would get off it's damn tree hugger, listen to hollywood idiots trip, maybe Ford and GM could import some of these awesome diesel cars and save their companies. anybody in the UK want to trade, i could trade you an assault rifle for a kuga.
