@SigandGibbs Mario 64 came out like two years earlier. I'm not hating on the Zelda series. Classic games, but cmon the series needs a make over or a radical change... It has been like OoT since OoT. They risked trying something new with Wind Waker, and it worked out pretty well. They need to change it up a bit.

But while the general layout of the Zelda games (overworld, dungeon) has been consistent, each game has had something quite entirely new to it, for better or for worse. I loved the sailing and surprisingly dark storyline in Wind Waker. And Majora's Mask was downright creepy, had lots of emotional stories and involved time trial! Twilight Princess... ehh.

@SigandGibbs Yeah TP didn't bring anything new to the table. The "dark world" stuff we had already seen on LTTP. I really hope that the whole sky thing really adds something special to the series. I also REALLY hope that the story is amazing and they should start adding some plot twists, and incorporating sidequest that tie in with the story somehow, just like MM. Doing sidequests in MM made you learn more about the story of the game. In TP... not so much.

I agree the zeld series is the best. ( now dont go getting your panties in a bunch and trying to pick a fight, its just an opinion) Now I grew up with these games and what I have only seen a couple like it. What I think makes the series so great is the sense of adventure, being the hero, the music, the enemies, the weapons and characters all that good shit!

And for those reasons, ( and others that werent mentioned...) I will always be a die hard Zelda fan!

this is one of the "Video Games Live" concert series where an orchestra does its own version of classic video games themes. Playing righ tnow is the theme from the "Legend Of Zelda". The concerts are a way to bridge the gap between gaming fans and classical music fans. And as you can see they do a pretty damn good job at it.
