I bought this set at Guitar Center in Los Angeles. From what I know it was a limited edition paint job and it can't be bought anymore. It's a Pearl ELX Series. I'll try to find out the name of the color but all I have is the code so I'll let you know if I find out anything more.

Galaxy black is the one that fades from black on each end to sparkly silver in the middle

Your cymbals are going to break if they haven't already. They should be set up angling down at you and pretty loose. Just change the angle they are set at because you seem to have them loose enough and you should be good to go! Just some constructive criticism. On another note, very good cover. Keep it up! \m/.

hey dude,i can see that your right leg is extremely good but you should buy a double pedal and play with your left leg more because your right leg will probably be stronger than your left and it sucks if you wanna double bass. it happens to me,so i thought u should know. :)

ive been playing for 5 years now. I taught myself on a little first act kit when i was 12 and from there i just kept going. no one, including my parents thought i was serious when i asked for a set, so they got me a little kid set and said "its a phase, he'll get over it"

turns out i didnt haha. My cymbals are 16" and 18" Sabian B8 Thin Crashes. Ride is 20" B8 and the hi hats are 14" B8s

look for Chad Szeliga's lessons on youtube, you'll understand what I'm saying, it's a shuffle, in the recorded version you can't hear it but I saw them live and yes he does ghost notes

The verse is a shuffle. Almost the exact same drum part as Toto's Rosanna. The rest of the song was dead on. Great job.

what type of ghost notes are you talking about? Ghost notes arent meant to be heard, but are for visual effect. Do you me little intermediate notes that arent as loud as the accented notes?

If you listen to what I do in my cover on the high hat...its actually that shuffle but 2 times

so instead of the shuffle on 2 and 4....its on 1,2,3 and 4

not bad at all, the only thing i would say to change is the rythme on the hi hat during the verse. chad gives it a swinging feel by doubling the hi hat. watch his video on youtube of him showing how to play until the end. you'll get a good idea, but nicely done cover
