This was my favorite episode ever! I love musicals and I love Scott Bakula even more. This was a great show and he was the best. I've enjoyed him in his new show, Men of a Certain Age, but sadly it was cancelled.
We love Scott a lot and i agree with you guys, he is so talented and lovable and very underrated. I mean, i think he should have been more popular that what he is now.
Aside to cilsley...I've been saying exactly the same thing since this episode of Quantum Leap first aired. . This man can do anything in entertainment at a fabulous level, and yet, few people know who he is. Also, Quantum Leap was an under rated show. I'd love to see it rerun.
@linktheown after reading that comment, it appears you have no idea what you are talking about. racism has risen back? when did it leave? learn your facts before incoherently babbling such nonsense
@linktheown i couldn't agree more with you, but it's not christian bale, its jeff goldblum. I also give this movie 8.7/9 due to it's exact representation of the oppression of slaves in America. simply beautiful.
I never missed this show as a kid and this episode in particular intriged me because I didn't know there was a musical of Don Quijote (I was too young to have read the book, but I knew of the character) and I liked the music a lot. I never forgot the music and when the musical was finally staged in my country I ran to see it.
It occurs to me Al is CLEARLY shown walking up a flight of steps at the end but I prefer to view that as the way they envisioned themselves, not an actual flaw

Eine der schönsten Episoden aus einem Reigen von schönen Episoden. Die beste Serie überhaupt! Warum wird das im Fernsehen nicht wiederholt?

Scott Bakula has to be one of the most underrated actors of our time

@cilsley0210 That's so nice to hear that cisley. I've always loved Scott as one of the best actors ever. He is very underappreciated.
