  • mine fell to the ground to today. now my tegs sitting at little ceasers till tomorrow.i didnt know you could drive it ifyou held the shifter up.

  • Is there some bracket I need to keep my shift linkage up?? Mine literally fell to the ground last night. I drove it for 15 miles holding the damn shifter up only had 3rd gear. I put it back in place but and zip tied it but there has to be something else. I it was the end on the shifter on the left of the screen. Did I break a piece off??

  • I don't know if you've figured this out yet, but you definitely need a new U-joint. You are looking at the wrong joint for sloppiness.

  • @elyknamdiw

What do you mean by new "U-Joint"? Diagram?

The reason why it tore so easily that I found out was that I'm actually missing a washer in between where the shifter bushing goes so it left a lot of play area for the bushing to easily tear >.<

  • @elyknamdiw no such thing as a u joint on a front wheel drive

and u joints are anything to do with your shifter

  • good video.. i'm having the same problem with my Honda civic shifter bushings gonna change them soon. the problem should be solved
