Well I used to use the solid fuel (metholtated spirit blocks) as suplied by mamod, but it's ruddy expensive. I bought a repro meths (liquid) burner from forrest classics for about £15. Quite expensive for what it is, but then a bottle of fuel is about two quid, so money well spent.
Ha ha! I'll have to have a big crank up in the garden, five stationary engine and 7 steam engines, pluss all my lighting display. That would be fun....
I think when I have the Ruston's magneto sorted out I will do a video of the the Wolseley with it, they are basicaly the same engine so it would be an interesting comparison.
The Ruston will still start but won't run for long don't think.
what fuel do you recommend for this, as i used mine today and is now run-in but have no fuel

Thank you, the tyres came from a website called forest classics, they make them. I think they're around £8 - £12 but well worth having.
