Beer Review: Dos Equis Amber

Pickd up a 6 of da amber. Before anything, im a drinker of XX lager, at least a 6-12pk evry week. Price range has been $12-17 for 12pk of lagers. da amber 6pk cost me $9. Pretty pricy! But it almost taste exactly da same, but it is smoother. i prefer da lager on taste, & i think da amber had slight advantage on alcohol cuz it felt just a bit stronger, idk if it was jus me but i had a 12 of lager & 6 of amber, so i compared them threw da night, da amber kick my ass compared to da lager.

I'm a huge beer guy and right now I'm on beer 5 working towards beer 6. Definitely try this out of the bottle with a lime. I'm not one for fruits in my beer but this is perfect. Cut a small slice, push it into the bottle, turn it upside down and keep your thumb on the hole until it's about to explode, let the air out slowly and drink! You get the flavor of the lime on your lips and the beer at the same time. Oh man. Wasn't a fan of Corona but this is my Mexican beer.

@auggiedoggy carta blanca is a much better beer than dos equis and it is great for any country, not just mexico. try more beers other than corona and sols before you dis a whole country of beers.

I tried the Dos Equis pale lager a few months back but it was some of the flattest/ most boring beers I've ever had, It had a nice smell to it and a little lemony tase to it but wasn't too good. But it seems that the Ambers alot better so I might give it a shot, nice review bro.

... The fact that there wasn't any depth in terms of analysis about the taste of the beer itself. You commented on the color and, kind of eluded to the fact that you wanted to drink at least 6. Fine.

But why not go into some of the details other reviewers go into, like the 'lacing' of the foam, what food it goes well with (other than pizza, lol, a given), etc.
