  • Most people who comment negatively about slap bass can't do it very well themselves. It takes a lot of practice, muscle, and finess to get a bass to speak well using slap techniques. I will agree however that sometimes I do get tired of hearing it but I would never buy a bass if I didn't like it's slap tone. Many years ago when I heard Larry Graham slapping on the song called hair, and Loius Johnson on get the funk outta my face, it changed my life permanently.

  • boring...

  • BoomBeBoomBaBoom ... ClacketyClacketyClack BoomBoomClacketyClackety ... ..

I know that these guys are really good ...

But at some point the message has arrived...

  • @cuwinkel I could not agree any more. There seems to be no bass-related video without clackydidackpop. It's like in the 80ies..

  • who is doing what? so confusing

  • looks like these are Sadowsky basses

  • who invited that stupid wacky ass guitarist?! please let the groove monsters do their thing. luckily it wasnt turned up too loud.

  • practically 98% pure wankery. I'm sure these guys are great players but c'mon lets hear some music.

  • @Thatguy301 Couldn't have said it better. I 've spent lots of time in youtube recently watching bass-gear review videos and it's like all of them are slap 'n popping the hell out of their instruments, and that on boring E-chord-funk vamps. I mean isn't there more to playing the bass? Well, I 've got a newsflash for you: "yeah, there is"

  • guter Sound,super Spieltechnik !

  • No, its a Tino Tedesco Jazz Bass! Tino is building customized Basses in Swiss! He is a good friend of Thomas, the leader of Tecamp, so his Basses always rock at Tecamp shows! The bass Kevin played is Thomas personnal Bass. TT basses are the best basses I ever played!!! Just check them out on TTs Homepage!

  • The bass that Kevin is playing is HIS own F Clef bass that he is currently selling if anyone wants to buy...not sure where you got your info from
