I lived an hour away from Iowa City growing up. Someone said something to Brands about this pin being a fluke and he looked the guy right in the eyes and said it was not a fluke at all: ie, he took Fried very seriously, it was evident. I was at Carver Arena to see these two wrestle at the all star meet later that season. I've always loved seeing both these guys wrestle- both greats in my book.
This is phenomenal. I've seen it before... but it's classic. (so is Elaine and Kenny ... I miss my dinner partner, Elaine. I miss bending in half to hug her ; ). And Kenny NEVER let me forget that I owed him $1. He bought a slice of pizza for me at Districts.

I live in Oklahoma so I'm obviously an OSU fan but I really have alot of respect for Brands. He's become an outstanding coach.
