As for the autotune debate: Autotune does NOT mean you automatically sound like T-Pain. If you've had experience working with pitch correction plugins in DAWs you'd know there is a gigantic middle ground. And you'd hear that this recording IS autotuned. But that doesn't mean he can't really sing. Autotune can only fix notes, not tone. He has an awesome tone and probably sounds great live, probably just threw pitch correction on because this was done in one take and no one's perfect.
