That is because this is a special thing that the ZuneHD does. If you have music that the marketplace recognizes, it downloads famous pics of the artists. Basically, have your zune marketplace find the album art for all of your music, and you;'ll have a lot more of those.

No there is no internal speaker either. There is no speaker for the zune HD. Every sound is run out of the headphone jack. What I was saying, was that I'm surprised that no "gadget" company has come up with an external speaker for the zune HD yet, since that is what a lot of people want for it right now. That and bluetooth.

you don't know what your talking about at the end their regarding apps. so far they've only announced social networking apps for oct or nov.  their are no 3rd party apps, def no IM capabilities

Apparently Kenton you are with Microsoft and one of the higher ups, since you know so much about the Zune HD, so what department are you in? I have been asking around, but have gotten word from a friend that "Trillian" One of the most popular 3rd party IM program's (that already has a version out for iPod touch) is working privately on a version for the zune hd. I have tried to get a comment on their forums and through contacting them but to no avail. Kinda wierd, since they could easily say no.

I'd also like to point out that there have been several news articles from EngadgetDOTcom that have stated the very things I have said. Since this is youtube I can't give you the link so go to engadget and search in the search bar for "Zune HD apps" and you come across one that is called something like: "Zune HD gaming and apps confrimed..." as well as "iPhone Devs offered cash to code for Zune HD"

I have been asking around at websites, and I heard from a dear friend that "Trillian" one of the most popular 3rd party "all-in-one" IM program is privately working on a Zune HD build. This didn't surprise me as they already have come out with a public beta for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

about the announcement regarding apps. idk where u got ur info but i only read from multiplie sources that facebook and twitter apps where coming. and all apps will be developed in house by microsoft or with close collaboration of partners. that's because they don't want two different sets of apps for winmo7 and zune hd. 3rd party apps might start coming when winmo7 is finalized

I don't see why some people say that Tegra is just a marketing hype. I have not seen a device that moves so smooth ever. I believe this is much better bang for the buck than going with the iTouch 16GB which is cheaper but with a year old technology, the 32 GB touch does a similar performance hardware wise but cost a little more. What MS is proposing here is truly awesome, tell us, if both devices were just launched to market which one will you pick, the iPod Touch or the Zune HD?
