I am a woman and I still think that the way a lot of women communicate much of the time is very annoying. I do pick up on nonverbal clues but their meanings are not always clear and I'm often left wondering - not a good feeling. This is not to say that men can't also be elusive in their communication. People just need to tactfully say what they mean!
