As much as I would have hated from another episode of watching Arthur deal with his man pain.. I think they rushed it a little. Gwaine and Elyan should have put their time in that cell to good use and found the bracelet. Then they should have taken it to Merlin and BING BAM BOOM everyones happy. THEN Arthur should have gotten his ass on the ground and begged Gwen to forgive him or acting like a just because he was King he could order her to leave.
Seriously side-eyeing your description, Arthur freakin' banished her from her home in Camelot knowing that she had nowhere to go to, and she ended up being brought into sexual servitude and even still was still loyal to the kingdom. It doesn't matter whether your partner cheated on you or not, you do not get to abuse your power over them. It was Arthur that needed to be forgiven not Gwen.Aside all that considering nearly every episode someone is enchanted he should have at considered that-

We didn't need another episode of Arthur's 'man-pain', and IF ANYTHING GWEN SHOULD BE THE ONE DOING THE FORGIVING, CONSIDERING ARTHUR MADE HER HOMELESS. Don't even get me started on the whole enchantment business, which is basically a shit load of victim blaming.
@LadyKyasarin I agree that Arthur shouldn't have banished Gwen (that's a bit too much for something like adultery, especially for Arthur) and I'm glad he lifted the sentence (she did, after all, sacrifice herself by fighting for Camelot) but my only beef with it is that he was so quick to forget about the whole Lancelot thing, thats all :)
I agree with you about Gwen. The ending of the episode felt soooo rushed. Like there was a huge build up and then BOOM it all finished. I think S.5 will have Merlin telling Arthur he has magic (or being revealed) mainly for the fact that in every episode there is like a quote about honesty and trust...so its happening.
But *raises hands and feet in the air* the only thing that made up for it was the epic battles and the Merthur scenes....awesome. <3 this! Great song choice!
*Raising hand* + totally agree with you about Arwen, he even said at the beginning of the episode that he'd NEVER forgive her, and the writers just killed Isolde as an excuse to bring Arwen together in the finale -.-' but in anyway, the Armor confrontation was amazing, and this video is as well <3 thanks for this! :D
I love this episode so much,,nip Gwen so quick,, it's still proves that love conquers all.
