  • i'm not as good as you bro, but i was just drumming to this for fun and then went on youtube, this rules

  • You should do some tracks from the SNES game Lagoon, that game has some killer songs.

  • Great job~

  • Damn, you're good. Mystic Quest's soundtrack is the best to do these with. Keep it up!!

  • Woah,nice skills!You should try playing Mystic quest´s Boss theme. :D

  • get a couple friends who play guitar and perform the whole thing in a band... that would be so kick ass! This was very well done btw

  • I thought your timing to the song from the boss theme was a little off, but this was very impressive. Maybe I missed something in the other video though, because I play guitar. Great work!

  • Hey man, how are you recording the drums?

  • All I am using is a Panasonic Digital Video Camera (I'll give you the exact model name sometime in the future) connected to a tripod. The camera has surprising good audio-recording.

  • Yeah man, I'd love to know the model number.

  • great job man. Awesome drum sound too. 5 stars

  • i did this song on bass =P i play VG music too

  • Absolutely brilliant drumming. Your kit sounds excellent and the usage of the double kick awesome.

  • epic

  • You should hook up w/ Ashane and you guys should play out the whole theme by yourselves! You both rock so hard!! :)

  • That was great! Thanks for posting!

  • the fill at :55 is bad ass

  • awesome! two questions: 1. how did you manage to remove the drum track from the song, and 2. do you plan on doing the same thing for battle 3 (dark king battle)? thanks!

  • 1. I use the emulator ZSNES. When playing a game, F5 through F12 turns off certain parts of the SNES' 8 sound channels. In Mystic Quest's case, I turned off F10, F11, and F12 to turn off the drums. I then started a battle, and used the program Audacity to record the song (just select "What U Hear" from the dropdown menu). When it's done recording, I export it as an .mp3. This is a great tool for those who want to focus in on a single instrument.

    2. I will definitely do the final battle.

  • Pretty cool dude. The music in this game is way unappreciated. Keep up the good work.
