Needed a much bigger case for it.. Cable management could have been a little better.. But all in all, for your first gaming rig, you did a nice job on it.
that would be the best setup for this unit, the pump generates heat aswell, put it before the radiator, you can use the res for cooling letting the water sit for a small time, drop a couple of degrees =D
umm im kind of new to this and i planning on getting a new processor and i want to overclock it and i was just wondering if this water cooling system works on all processors because im planning on getting a intel core duo E8400
@QsoftStudios installed it wrong? i went to college for computer engineering and build gaming rigs for cyberpower.....i didnt install them wrong. I bought 3 and all of them failed....i bought one western digital and it ran perfect!
@QsoftStudios OMFG!!!! IM TELLING YOU!!!! SEATGATE IS BAD QUALITY!!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME IVE INSTALLED A SEAGATE DRIVE ON ANYONES COMPUTER THEY WENT BAD AND CRASHED WITHIN 20 MINUTES!!!!!! AND ITS NOT HOW I INSTALL THEM!!!! I BUILD COMPUTERS FOR A LIVING!!!!! WESTERN DIGITAL HAS NEVER FAILED ON ME!!!!!! NOT ONCE!!!!!!
you know how to disasemble a water cooling system? Just wondering coz i was considering this very system and one day I might like to take it out and it seems like a trek
computers arnt to hard to build granted that there are a lot of wires to hook up but your mouther board manual will show you where each connection goes
@thdt4114 you only need some luck lol xD, all the cables of the case come marked, leds and buttons etc, if they dont work just flip them... other components are just obvius couse of the cables come with special forms...
its Northing todo with fitting them, Its getting everything working there best. For you to say that ur gonna have company made pcs beating ur trash. lol
i have had the 850i prowater for around 2 months, and it has been amazing. I would only get an extra reservoir if i was getting water blocks for both gpus, an even at that, i think i would just buy a bigger one rather than another one.
Is that the standard tubing size for the thermaltake 850i prowater? I am thinking of getting it for my Core i7 but I don't really like the size of the tubes. Your build looks cool though nice one.
nice. but 12gb ram... -.- is more then your ever going to need lol. you dont need a i7 extreme my 920 would run circles around it any day.. my rampage II owns it. my gtx 295 co-op ftw editons own your cards heh..
As time goes on PC get better, and for OP the video is great. Also, as first build you did a excellent job, and you should keep up the good work. Good luck and keep building.
nice setup for a first gaming rig, i really like this water cooling kit, cable management isnt that bad, atleast its all stuffed in one corner instead of all through the case, nice vid
so hows the system running, is it nice and cool for that Q9950? cuz im running a Q66 and hoping this thing runs the way it supposed to. the last thing i want is a incident for my 2k rig.
Definately....but if i were to add water to the video cards, hdd, memory and north bridge i would consider a larger pump for increased flow and to have a variable flow speed dial with it as well.
one more question: can other water coolers be added later with when buyingthe 850i system? I mean a water cooler for the hard-disk or for the video card? Thanks again!
The radiator comes with a bracket that should fit on to the exterior back of your particular case....hope it works out for and thanks for your comments...
great ater cooling system ;)!!! I want to buy the same one but I have a raidmax aztec case that has in the back an 8 cm fan instead of 12 so I can't mount the radiator inside the case. Is there any way to mount the radiator outside the case, put it on some kind of "legs"? Thanks! great pc!!!
Well....I used an old Dracula mid tower case which i had to make some mods for the pump and res to "barely" fit....since the psu is on the bottom of the csm690 i would probably go with the Bigwater 760i...
Im going to get a cheap swiftech kit for my computer, its going to be awesome! Pitty about the graphics cards. They really need upgrading to keep up with your cpu.

I am so shocked you managed to fit water cooling inside that case, so small, but
I have 2 8800 gts in mind so well cramed in there, plus 5 hard drives
Xclio a380 upgrade this week when i get round to it :)
