Count Cirons helmet, from a side quest in the shivering isles, is identical to the regular madness helmet, but has horns! its so cool, id recommend doing the quest :D

you can get this armor with out all those ore and shit thing and you can get it like this:

1:First install shivering isles

2:type in the console like this coc testingground or coc testinghall

3:there are lots of doors but you must go in the one labeled armor warehouse

4:there you got all the vanilla oblivion armors along with this one and the other one (forgot its name)

you need to have 16 madness ore for the entire armor set to be made. matrices are harder to find but have some really nice enchants, especially with the +10 blade AND blunt skill. i should also point out that you will need quite a bit more of the ore to fashion the weapons as well. there is a huge dungeon just east of the fringe that has craploads of grummites. i usually find between 2 and 5 matrices and well over 25 pieces of madness ore per run. xedillian is a one time thing sadly. :)

if you are haveing trouble finding ore look up how to dupe items on oblivion and dupe about 150 madness ore and you can get the full set it will also work for the other armor set

@7007king ok, what u have to do is to talk to the smith in crucible, she'll tell you about madness ore, and how she can make armor out of it and she'll give you a list of hw many pieces of ore you need for a certain piece of armour. you can find the ore mostly on grunts

depens on your skill if you have heavy and light on the same level then heavy is better for protection but it can make you a lil slow and easyer to detect if you aint a master in the art of sneak amber is good for fast running and good sneaking like i have but you can also combine them xP

You can get free Impure Madness Weapons like Bow, Axe and longsword. Here Is What To Do!  1. Go to Shivering Isles 2. Check your map then look down on the map of the Isles you see that a part of the map is formed like the top of a blade 3. Then you see some kind of holes in the map 4. go down there and you should find a place named Vitharn complete the quest down there an remember to loot!

Each matrix is for one piece or armor or weapon. And for some reason you can't dupe the Matrixes (Matrices) no matter which duplication trick you try. Tried doing the same thing when i got my first matrix.

crusader armor is the best in the game with bonueses... and it levels up with you if you put it on the armor stand and take it off again (in the basement of the priory of the nine)

nope, the amber hammer is stronger than the madness claymore. claymore=27 damage, hammer=29 damage.

there are only two other weapons in the game that are equally strong: Nerveshatter (a warhammer made from both madness and amber ore.) and the bound sword.

no it's not a mod. You get by collecting madness ore in the Shivering isles and then giving the ore to Cutter at Cutter's Weapons in Crucible. you need a certain amount of the ore for certain parts of the armor though.
