  • THE HE 116 DOES LOOK A LOT LIKE THE HE111, YES IT WAS ACTUALLY PRODUCED IN SOME NUMBERS AND USED IN FLYING EXPERIMENTS AND OTHERE RESEARCH, ALSO AS A VIP TRANSPORT, IT DID NOT HAVE THE SIZE TO MAKE A EFFECTIVE HEAVY BOMBER, BUT IT WAS A VERY USEFUL AND EFFECTIVE AIRCRAFT. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO MAKES THIS KIT, I HAVE WANTED A HE 116 FOR 40 YEARS,NEVER SEEN ONE LISTED , INJECTED PLASTIC, RESIN, VAC U FORM, WHERE CAN I GET ONE OR TWO???

  • @1014kerry

Hi Kerry. It is very rare as u must realise. i too didnt even think that you could get a kit of one either. turns out that you can get the military version and the civil one. i was out bid on the military one about 3 years ago on ebay it went beyond 300US but a bit later both versions came up and i won both at around 50US each i think everyone must have been asleep except me. So i currently have the civil version unbuilt in a box. kit is by "classic plane" in resin So rare

  • Looks like a 4-engined He111. Was it ever produced or just a design?

  • @ammobaba its a bit smaller, and has very similar wing shape. the civil version was hiding the fact that it was actually a test bed for military action. there are not even many pictures of these aircraft's on the net. so if u want one keep searching, it took me 15 years to find one.

  • wow i only have the normal heinkel (for mi) (HeIII-H6)
