When they make movies, the names come from somewhere, and they give the image to the character. When using words, you have to put an image to it. Just as this video.

Ex. "Kool Keith" "LL COOL J" "Gucci Mane" - The name sums the person up. If you didn't hear LL Cool J, from Ladies Love you'd know he maybe rhymed about being a ladies man, Gucci Mane, money and adorning himself. Just as Will playing Ali or Al Pacino playing Scarface.

"Snoop Doggy Dog" you'd assume he's a rapper even if you didn't know based on the name. So it's identity, not mimicry.
