Love how Alex talks about this city, "so far away from American influence," and McDonald's is clearly shown in the background. Great way to introduce a bit of humour to the blog. Much appreciated!
I absolutely adore the feeling this gives me. When i notice that connection we all have with each other it is so nice. It feels generous, and other people just respond with an overwhelming amount of gratitude, very affirming.
It's a damn good practice folks. A fantastic way to feel hugely connected to those around you, and slap a goofy grin on your face. It also makes you feel great. Highly recommended - I've been doing it frequently for about 18 months. Perspective shifting.
Thanks for the kind words, Sir Alex. Curious to hear about the longitudinal effects of the practice -- I'm sure the rest of the audience would like to hear it, too!
Thanks for the videos. I was looking around behind you and wondering "where are all the fat people?"...then it came to me... oh yeah, he's not in the US. I think it's quite funny that jumped out at me while watching the video.
that's just awesome idea! When have you been to Riga? Is there a chance you visit south-eastern Europe some time? Make a seminar or something? Many greets from Montenegro
Oh You just made me smile so widely with this! I really needed it, I am normally a naturally happy person but I guess I let myself get bogged down a bit today. Everything happens for a reason, thank you for doing this!!! <3
i always feel kinda fake when i tell friends about some new ideas i heard - from your mails for example ;) - as if i'm saying "i don't really have much experience with it myself, but YOU should totally try it out cause it's the right thing to do!" (btw i still do it, because ppl don't know i just learned it xD and i guess my brain somehow knows that it helps with the learning...)
any input on that one would be highly appreciated!
greetings from vienna - i'm quite sure you know where that is ^^
test it out for yourself first and feel what it does for you. then when you know for sure that it's a good idea and you've felt it from within, you'll be a hell of a lot more convincing and not fake at all :)
Thanks for the positive feedback, Julia! All I ask is that you guys *implement* these ideas regularly so it's a habit and a practice, not just a good idea :)
WOW! My Dad is from Riga!! :)
What a great location and a great message

Fat people are currently in short supply in Latvia. But with the golden arches behind me, looks like we're doing our best to help them catch up...

Montenegro -- great idea! As long as there's a foreign language to be learned and new beer to be tried, I'm there.

You're very welcome! And remember -- pass it along! The best way to learn something is to teach it to others.

Thank you! That was great! I always need that reminder to open up my heart and show compassion to others. I've been needing this in my life lately...

Just between you and me, the video's a good reminder to myself, too! Thanks for the note.
