Great tutorial. Being a self taught cake artist these videos are so helpful! I do have a question about your tools. Where can I buy the sugar glue with the brush? I usually mix water and gumpaste to make my own glue, but this seems so much easier, especially if I have a small and quick job to do!
@shilohandmichelle hi... try cake decorating store, or buy it online... it is heaps better than water and gumpaste mix... and it's great for more delicate shapes good luck.
@bymeryng Thank you! I don't have any cake decorating stores near me except for Hobby Lobby and Micheal's. Is there a certain brand I should look for? What exactly is it called? When I searched for sugar glue online I couldn't find it.
@shilohandmichelle Hi there, it is called SUGAR FLOWER GLUE, alas it is made in Australia, by Carolines Sugar Art. Please google it, (i think i am not allowed to place a link here) Maybe she will post it to where you are... good luck :)
@docgroovy hello there, it's a foam mat.. especially for thinning flower petals.. it needs to be soft enough so the icing won't fall apart, hope this helps :)
where did yoy get the black flowers stems? can you eat them? and btw loved it! i whish my black gel color would work like that, the one i have is a mess and everything ended black i had the time of my life washing it out! :S
@MIssTouver Hi the black steams are from cake deco shop, I believe you can also get them online... I am using Wilton gel fondant colouring.. they are easy to work with, all the best :)
@dingbat183 I am not 100% sure of how she did it, but you could achieve this look by using royal icing tinted black piped with a writing tube, or make a center as she did in the video, but w/o the dent in the middle and stamens, then go back in with little balls of black gum paste and glue them on individually. Hope this helps!
@bymeryng I wanted to know where to purchase the large petal cutter that your using in this video (TUTORIAL Anemone Flower Gumpaste for Decorating Fondant Cake)
@parisat1 Hello, the cutter is called ORCHARD FIVE PETAL FLOWER CUTTER, they come in various sizes. Any cake decorating shop at your town should have them. Good luck :)

Love your video!!!! I can't wait to try these. You can make sugar flower glue by mixing water and Tylose powder. Easy-Peasy and lasts a long time.

@dingbat183 oh I used a special mould for the centre of the flowers.

How did you make the other center for the flower shown in the picture...the one without the stamens...
