San Miguel Eskrima is taught at Filmocan Eskrima. "Filmocan" technique refers to the Single Stick technique that Momoy taught to Master Panto; it didn't have have a name at the time, but when he wanted to call it something he wanted to honor his grandfather, hence FILemon MOmoy CANete. The footwork and striking patterns are similar to what you would see in the San Miguel Form.
Could you please tell me how many time takes for someone to learn San Miguel eskrima "properly" and what are all the techniques you can learn (balla-balla, the form, etc,...)?
As a teacher whom I respect likes to say, "It's the movement - not the moves." I'll PM you with the curriculum as I learned it (YouTube doesn't allow posts of more than 500 characters).
please answer me..
why your master PF has put the fake video about San Miguel Escrima??
Why he has modify with his student the diploma of other real student of Momoy,(master Dacayana Alberto Sr)??
why he hasn't a diploma for demostrate his study under Momoy, really??
please do not talk about san Miguel, please verify before about the quality.
Because many people are thinking that, THIS IS SAN MIGUEL..

Hello,
could you please explain your intro comment "this short form employs many of the features of the San Miguel Form from San Miguel Eskrima."?
Does this means that at Filmocan they do'nt actually practice San Miguel eskrima?
And who is practicing today "pure" San Miguel eskrima (if we can ask that)?
