  • Question: Did Santa Barbara always end credits with the Santa Barbara theme playing, or did they sometimes end with the last scene music playing like Days did? Thanks

  • at the beginning santa barbara had good music,love songs and anger theme(channing capwell) , but in early 90's they changed that and replace them by awful piano background music

  • That was when Another World, Sunset Beach, and Santa Barbara were replaced by Passions.

  • When Sunset Beach started Santa Barbara was already cancelled a few years ago. The last episode of Santa Barbara in the USA aired in January 1993.

    Well, the writing was already on the wall re: Sunset's cancellation back when AW was axed. NBC was just throwing us the proverbial bone w/Sunset's extension. According to Kathleen Noone (and other sources I've read) the network had every intention of cancelling both shows for Passions' benefit.

  • Yes, you are right , the dutch station never showed it. Besides, now there are even no longer real credits, they make simple and short ones themselves, just indicating the director's name and mentioning just 4 major cast members.
