yes they have, they gave the description away to eric nylund and william dietz who made the halo books, because a few times in each book they describe cheif unmasked, also theres a thing called the halo bible which has EVERYTHING there is to know about halo and a lot more than you think you know too, i know a couple of extracts from it, btw u cant buy it theres only one, in bungie studios
