I think we will be fine with Crompton this year. That hybrid-spread offense is gone. Hell, half the team never caught on to it. I look for a turn around for Crompton similar to the turn around Ainge made in 07. Better coaching + higher comfort level = more confidence.
I'm laughing at all the Florida, Georgia, and Bama fans who think Tennessee will lose to South Carolina, Vandy, and Kentucky.

I'm thinking that Tennessee will probably lose to Florida and Bama but the games will be closer than a lot of people think. Not sure about Georgia, it'll be close too.
8 to 9 wins is very possible with this team! I think Rivals have us at 34th in the preseason pole which isn't bad because we may move up a few spots to 28th or so do to it being UT and the top recruiting class!! The Ucla game is what can get UT closer to the top 25. #13 - #17 bracket isn't bad but very possible for this team! A second place finish in the East could push it bit higher. 8 to 9 wins plus a bowl win would put Kiffin in the drivers seat and a ranking in the top 15. Go Vols!!

I really like this man, I hear the passion in him. He has some salesman in him also and we all know he can coach. We should clean up on defensive recruits in the future.
