please answer :) hey i got a yukata but im not sure how to put it on cos it had these two white strap on each side and im not sure what they're supposed to do cos its kinda hard to tie when they're on the sides instead of a seperate string like yours... :)
I just bought a yukata (and other stuff, obi and geta) from yukata-kimono sakura market in Japan and I just got the delivery today. I opened up the package and stared at the yukata cause it was longer than me, and I can't figure out how to fold it and shorten it to my ankles at least. ><;
lol I'll have to watch this again since Im putting one on for the Japanese Festival over here. I knew i was forgetting something since mine kept looking a little too long; LOL
@PillsofJenny It's supposed to be too long. You pull it up to your ankles, tie it, and then fold the cloth over. But you probably already knew that watching the video again...
I love yukatas, I think they're so beautiful and they make the person wearing them that much more beautiful. Thanks for the vid it was very informative =^-^=
