Re: The question of what music's playing, I would love to know as well. I know this much - it has to be composed by Philippe Sarde because he scored the music for the film, and it's not on the soundtrack. It seems to be a jazzed-up version of one of the movie's themes. Perhaps it appears on a Sarde compilation somewhere? If anyone finds it please post.
