First of all, NEVER do a sliding stop on grass. If you want to play it safe&keep your life and your horses. If you don't give two shits about your horse's life or your own, by all means, kill yourself. We need less of you.

Second, that guy is a complete douchebag. He gave his horse a pat, instead of walking him out or checking for heat or swelling. I highly doubt that when he pat the horse, it said "I'm okay!".

This, everyone, is how NOT to ride a reining horse! Also, a good way to die!

ive done this before, but my horse didnt fall over, he just kinda slid, and fell on his tail, and got back up XD its easy to do when you try to do a sliding stop on grass.

I agree, the horse could have broken a bone. My friend one time went to a reining clinic and it was on grass and her horse did the same thing and broke some bone. i forget which one. he's okay and fully recovered now though
