At the beggining it's singles with accents, but then they start adding diddles. It's pretty much a bunch of six stroke rolls and pudadas (or pudahdahs or however you want to spell them). There are also 5 counts of singles at the end.
It's actually not singles that the line is playing. They put the sticking as singles in the green beats audition book to see what kind of chops people auditioning had. The only time there are singles is the very first beat of the feature, and the last 5 beats. The rest is just paradiddle-diddles and pudadas.
I remember one year our snare line got matching bonnets (yes, bonnets in different colors even)... it was ugly but they rocked em everyday for a while... never know what you'll find at those truck stops in Iowa
..who gives a damn they are ALWAYS in the top 5 in drumline and they are ALWAYS, pretty much, number 1 in the overall DCI ranks so whos bitchin about it lol?
Damn.. I'm so lucky. I got to go to Madison and see the DCI Finals. Cavaliers blew everyone away! I mean they were amazing. Even if they aren't a favorite of yours, you have to admit they rocked. It's just one of those things:P The ESPN thing didn't do it justice. But yeah. They deserved it.

They weren't that clean in 02. 04 and 05 sounded better to me. And 00 they had pretty damn good hands, just a little sketch on finals night.
