Donkey's are total wimps! They sometimes snort at you like they're gonna do something, but they retreat like wimps every time!!! Now wild horses are a different story!!!
I stayed in a place in Kansas once that had a farm next to it, and that damn donkey kept braying at the worst times...same deal for the rooster, both of whom thought three in the morning was the perfect time for a barnyard hoedown...
I showed the unedited clip from the middle of the video to a group of kids a couple years ago and they wanted to know if the adult donkey was a boy or a girl donkey. They thought they were pretty funny asking a question like that! I just rolled my eyes and moved on...
In the 1990s I'd sometimes see groups of over 50 donkeys at a time. Now, thanks to Bureau of Land Management efforts to thin the herds, the most I'll see at a time is ten. The problem with the donkeys is that they compete with native species for resources.
Getting a dirty look from a donkey would be kinda creepy...
