Seriously, I love how people say the Blues suck...according to "experts" we were supposed to finish dead last in West, that was with a healthy squad ladies & gentlemen, they made one of the biggest comebacks in NHL season history to make the playoffs above teams they were picked to finish behind with basically an AHL team with a few veterans, amazing run by my beloved BLUES! BLUES CUP IN 2011!

Consider the slight camera angle, and the fact that the puck needs to be in line with the crossbar to count. I think it counted.

It was called a goal. There would have to be conclusive evidence to take it back. Given the angle, you can't conclude jack from the replays. Can't overturn the goal, so it stands. Bruins fans should grow up or grow a pain and take this loss, as they were outplayed by the Blues for 55 minutes. You can't show up an win in the NHL.

for those you think this shouldnt be a goal..i used to ref for 4 years and unless its diff in the nhl only your blade has to be even with the cross bar and not the puck..even if the puck is above the cross bar but your blade is not the goal still counts..with that being said it was WAY to close to call it a no goal since the call on the ice was goal, if the call on the ice was no goal-high stick then things would be differant..but remember to overturn a call it has to be INCONCLUSIVE

not sure where you reffed, but you couldnt be more wrong...here's the rule verbatim for your convenience:

An apparent goal scored by an attacking player when any part of his stick makes contact with the puck above the height of the crossbar of the goal frame shall not be allowed. The determining factor is where the puck makes contact with the stick. If the puck makes contact with the stick below the level of the crossbar and enters the goal, this goal shall be allowed.
