@APreownedHobo U have to go to the menu I showed u at 3:41 . Then when u open the menu for Recording devices, right click on stereomix and choose Settings/Options. Then click on the second tab. There, u check the box reading "choose this device as recording device" and then select ur microphone in the dropdown menu.

It should now record both the computer sound and the mic, but it is possible that u will hear ur voice repeated by the speakers while talking.

@MegaS1l3nT Are u running MW2 in window mode? U cant record fullscreen games, unless u run them in window mode, try that. Just tell me if that didnt work and i will help u find the problem ;)

What video codec are u using? What are u trying to record? And what goes to a black screen, the program u record or Hypercam itself?

I'm loving this program so far (and I'm think about using it for some Let's Plays I might do), but the sound keeps getting out of sync for some reason whenever I record. Is there a way to fix this? (I had it on 30 FPS if it helps)

@midnightclubx Alright, this might have several reasons: First, it is possible that the problem will be resolved when using a different audio compressor. Another possibility is Just to play the video with another player and see if it's still out of sync. Last, u can try to using any video editing program (Windows Movie Maker/Sony Vegas/Virtual Dub), import the file. The audio track should be longer then the video track. Just drag it to the same length and it will be synced again.

when you record games, do you use the window option or full screen? im trying to record caesar 3 and if i use window it records in low resolution (cause the game has low resolution) if i use full screen i would get full hd (cause my monitor is 1920x1080), but sadly when i use full screen it records just the game sound, and video is all a black screen

Any idea what im doing wrong? i have the same settings at hypercam as you have

@19Cristian89 yes, that's a common problem. U can only record games in window mode, otherwise it will record a black/white screen. But if u think about it, recording in window mode and therefore the game in low resolution makes sense because its quality won't be better when recording in full hd. If u really wanna have fullhd settings for any reason, u can try to run the game in window mode and then record fullscreen OR after recording it in low res edit it with a video software and change codec.

@BC2GEEK Mostly, im just after getting full screen for youtube, and ya know some old games havent 1920x1080 resolution. Which is kinda annoying because they still play as full screen but all the recorders (camtasia, camstudio, hypercam, xfire, etc) dont manage to record it as 1920x1080, they just record the game at its max resolution :(

@19Cristian89 As i said, you can use any video editing program (Windows Movie Maker / Sony Vegas Pro) to render the low resolution video into full hd. But really, that's not changing anything about the quality, it just allows you to have a full hd button on youtube...

Have you tried what i recommended you? (running the game in window mode and then choosing full screen on hypercam?)

@BC2GEEK yea i already figured it out how to get 1920x1080 with sony vegas although the video has lower resolution, as for quality, im using camtasia codec and hypercam 3.1 to record, it seems to record pretty clear.

the divX codec kinda sucked at quality, was able to see squares here and there, which is definetly a nono.

@salvador97100 It is a trial version, you will have the "unregistered Hypercam" window on your screen while recording. If it annoys you, you can search the internet for a crack.

@BC2GEEK Just enlarge the "Screen Notes" menu and use the "add", "edit" and "delete" buttons for ur comments. Hypercam 3 helps when having added your first note.

@Knechterlec88 Das kommt drauf an, wann es ruckelt. Wenn es erst ruckelt wenn du die Aufnahme startest, dann reicht deine Hardware nicht aus, du musst bei Spielen die Optionen runterschrauben und evtl. die Framerate auf 25 reduzieren. Ab einer Framerate von unter 25 nimmt das menschliche Auge eine Bildsequenz nicht mehr als flüssig wahr. Du kannst auf mal zwischen den Codecs wechseln oder wenn du denn DivX Codec verwendest die Kompressionsrate runterstellen. Meld dich wenn du noch Fragen hast.

@runescapegamer1234 You dont have to push anything, if u followed the step explained in the video from 3:09 - 4:20 , it should record the sound without pushing a key. Hope it works for you!

@DBLoOdsSAS Go to "Options", then the "Audio" tab, and check "Record Sound", for "Device", put "Stereo Mix". If you don't have that then go to "Control Panel", "Hardware and Sound", "Sound", go to the "Recording" tab, right-click a blank space and check "Show Disabled Divices" and "Show Disconnected Divices", right-click Stereo Mix and make sure its "Enabled" and as the "Default Device"
