  • That girl has a terrible mother. She's an enabler and an addict. She isn't willing to change her own addictive behavior, even when it puts her daughter's own life at risk. That is no mother. That poor girl's life. To quote Dr. Phil on another episode, "When I see how she turned out after how her life has been, I don't ask myself why, I ask myself why not?" Some parents just don't give their kids a chance. Since 12, when she got molested and her mother didn't believe her. That's tough.

  • Send her ass to boot

  • "WeBeRiBac"

  • I used to be addicted to weed, then I just said, enough. I stopped cold turkey, and it wasn't that hard. I don't understand why people can't do it, where is the will? Where is the strength? Where is the determination? You don't need phychiatrists or rehab centers or Dr. Phil to get off drugs, all you need is the WILL! These people have no will! When they seriously want to stop, they will stop. What I see here is a half hearted effort.

  • @JohnJancar that's b/c you can't get physically addicted to weed. however w/ coke and heroin you will be mentally and physically addicted. you can get physically addicted with cigarettes as well and contrary to belief, its actually harder to get off cigarettes than weed. hence that's why you had the willpower to get off weed. w/ heroine & coke, if she stops cold turkey, she will most likely die. same goes with alcohol. thats where rehab kicks in, its a step by step program (I'm major in science)

  • @deviatorz Wait a minute, I know of people who have stopped coke and heroin cold turkey, and they didn't die. They had physical withdrawal symptoms, and I think that is a major reason why people keep on doing it, they fear the withdrawal. Well it's either that, or be a junkie for the rest of your life. It is well worth the effort to go through it, and come out clean. Same with alcohol. Any hesitancy to stop always has its roots in one thing, fear. Well let go of the fear and it will be easier.

  • @JohnJancar With Alcohol or Xanax you absolutely can die. Those are the two things one should never come off cold turkey. I have had seizures coming off alcohol, chewed my tongue up and ever damn thing. Coke withdrawals aren't bad but staying off it seems really rough.Heroin or Morphine they're gonna wish they died, but except in the most severe case, like if the person is elderly,it won't kill you.But withdrawals can be anywhere from 6 days to 6 months. Please believe that!

  • @deviatorz Correct. Weed was NOTHING to quit for me. I smoked EVERY day for over 2 years. It was a piece of cake, to tell the truth. No withdrawals, nothing. Cigarettes are a different matter all together. I still don't have the guts to quit them.... =\

  • @TheChannyj28 There is no will or strength in quitting marijuana. Opiates are an ENTIRELY different drug and are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY harder to quit w/out help... almost impossible. NOT impossible, but almost. A whole other story.

  • As a mom myself, I see myself in denial llike her mom. I NEVER partied with ym kids but they have seen me messed up on meds. It's NO way to live....in fact you are not living. You're physically here but mentually checked out. I couldn't deal with my guilt so I tried to dull it. Now I am committted to seeing a counselor, dr's, and whoever else I need to become ME again.

  • I hope it's not a 12 step program. As an addict/alcoholic I will tell you the 12 step programs are a waste of time.If you're in trouble with addiction look up Rational Recovery. I have 5 years clean it would be 8 but I did slip up1 time. The most time I ever stayed clean in AA was about 6 months.Usually 3 months and I'd be back at it.The meeting they have don't work for me,it's people sitting around with a gleam in their eye talking about their drinking days.I suffer from depression but I'm clean

  • @scumgod13 Congratulations! I'm happy for you! =0)

  • moms never going to change. i hope her daughter never went home and never sees this piece of crap who called her self a mother again. the BF in jail...keep him there. none of these people deserve such a bright and beautiful person in there lives.

  • She's sooo beautiful! What a shame!!

  • Dr.Phil:"I hope I'm wrong...Im not, but i hope i am!

This girl cannot get help without her mother getting help also! With everything she's been through she doesn't just need rehab, but therapy also! This parent is arrogant, and in deep, plummeting denial!

  • if heather means everything 2 her, she will change simple as that.

  • Posting these comments with out thought.

  • does anyone know if she completed rehab and stayed clean? I hope so... what a beautiful, articulate girl she is, it would be such a shame.

  • she replapsed and had to go back to rehab
