i'm sorry but singing is just not your thing. have you tried playing guitar or something. i know from experience. I play rockband and people are always leaving me do to my horrible voice. thats when i get out the guitar and start playing.

What difficulty were you playing? Just curious cause I tried hard and I bombed out on this song yet I sing this song in RB2 on hard no problems.

I had to play this song on medium since vocals on harder difficulties on GHWT seems you need to single close to vocal track of the song (even though a lot of sound engineering is usually done to fix the performers voice in the final production of the track).

I'm not totally sure about that but if you can play Rock Band with the XBox mic, than you can use it for GHWT.

From what I heard the Xbox 360 version of the drums do work on Rock Band 2. Unfortunately, for those who own the PS3 version of the drums, they don't work. Hopefully, Harmonix releases a patch for this.

As far as activating star power all you need to do is tap on the mic.
